I have family in Golden Valley. I remember them talking about the Mimosa tree roots getting into the Morganton city sewers back in the 50s and early 60s. If memory serves me correctly, there is a State facility in Morganton that would likely welcome us both with open arms; they have plenty of docs, and even offer electroshock therapy... I'm well into my second, or maybe third, childhood.
