If I remember correctly, if Hitler would have been stopped after he "acquired" by invasion, his first country, then WW11 would not have happened.
It is my firm belief that we must keep an eye on Putin (no ladies, not while half naked atop a horse), because if he keeps wanting to "acquire" by invasion, he may keep getting greedy with it and not want to stop; then, we may have a problem on our hands! Any Opinions??

He has it made right now with our military at it's weakest. We don't need war to be safe, we just need a strong military.

The two men you mention have 0 in common.
Without the Soviet Union as an ally, Germany would have not been defeated.
There is no logical way to make such a comparison.

Solarkin, Please analyze/synthesize the info in print and do not do me the way Hillary & the media have been doing Future President Trump by jumping to an irrational conclusion and "hammering" me for it! The comparison lies only in acquiring territory and Diplomacy not being utilized before the said acquisition went too far; keeping an eye on this situation

We need Russia as a friend. We share the Space Station; we need to be on good terms; however if whomever is feeling threatened by an invasion goes to the UN, we just need to be "in the loop".

The activity in the Bosporous leads me to think that someone needs to know whom is in control.
Turkey has No loyalty, Syria is up for grabs, and the Entire Middle East is a Cluster frak.
What else would any sensible leader do?
China is getting ready to BF us all with its hypersonic Carrier killers, and North Korea's recently developed thermonuclear weapons.
You think of Putin as a threat.
He is perhaps our best ally.

Solarkin, I do not see Putin As a threat but whomever he is acquiring as new territory, might! We should, with the UN, monitor in case others feel threatened by him; I agree with you on everyone & everything else going haywire & that's why we need someone like Trump who will readily take counsel from all the intelligence with whom he will surround himself!!

Seems like the Hill wants to create an atmosphere of fear and overall paranoia about something or someone so that the American people will feel that she is the only one who can protect them (in this case Putin)!

Putin will join the "world community" Obama is pushing so hard for us to join. We already have a far bigger problem than most of us realize.

Please explain what, in this subject content, what you feel the bigger problem is (that most do not realize).

Globalism! Bad for America especially and the world at large generally. This can't go down without LOTS of bloodshed, tyranny and repression. Putin, or Russia in the event Putin is no longer on the scene, will be a part of that, but not nearly the biggest part of the equation.
