This is a link to an article in the New Yorker giving a discription of what the beginnings of a Trump presidency would probibly look like. It is several thousand words in length and will take a few minutes to read. I am posting it because it is not a hit piece at all but describes what of Trumps promises he could and could not likely accomplish and how he would go about doing so. I found it rather sobering and am curious for those of you support him and take the time to read the article is this what you want for our country and would it satisfy your desire for change?

I think...Trump supporters want to avoid Socialism.

Freedom scares most progressives... I get that...

Progressive democrats need the government to wipe their butt, feed them breakfast, and entertain them before bed.

an article from the New Yorker?

My son-in-law once gifted me with a year´s subscription to the New Yorker.

Being born in the New York City area, he didn´t yet understand its true lack of value.

After thumbing through the first one, I subsequently routinely burned each one received, along with fallen limbs, twigs and grass clippings.

Howdy ma'am.

You could also shred them and use them to help keep the baby chicks warm.

kevyn-a total Trump screw up at the beginning of his presidency would be better than an ideal start-up by crooked Hillary. Her idea of job creation is a huge tax increase followed by the government attempting to create jobs. We are well aware of how that would develop. We need to clean out DC regardless of the pain it might inflict. Failure to do so will put us in a third world type status from which we may never recover. The corruption is too deep on both sides of the aisle and only a brazen outsider will have the gonads (leaves Hillary out) to get the ball rolling.
This means republican heads will roll with the rest of them if they are corrupted in any way. Failure to elect Trump, as politically incorrect as he may be, will put our economic and national security at risk because our continued decline will be perceived as a weakness by both our friends and adversaries. When we were considered occupied elsewhere by Japan, they struck. Fortunately, we had the military power to fight wars on two fronts in those days. That capability is long gone so a weakling like Hillary , who loathes the military , is not what we need as CIC. Good Luck America !!!

Hi Wolf, Thank you for that John Wayne greeting.

Actually, I get forty (40) pound bags of Pine wood shavings, and distribute between chicks, and the hen´s nesting boxes, floor of the chicken coop, henś run, roosters house and run, etc., etc., etc.,

I hope youŕe well and undepressed tonight.

My Chromebook is winding down - 12 minutes of battery left, have to go to Microsoft desktop.

The ten (10) baby chicks are adorable, Buff Opington father, and Rhode Island Red Hen...

Thank you for thinking of them.

Kevyn, I rarely see you offering an original thought. It's usually an opinion piece from someone else. How come you don't think for yourself?

Maybe you are a liberal Democrat that believes Hillary Clinton is trustworthy? Could that be?

Obama? Trustworthy? Do you believe that?....

What do you believe?

Do you believe Hillary when she puts people in "baskets"? One basket "Deplorable", the other somewhat unintelligent and desperate? That's what she said......Irredeemable.....That's what she called ME.....

Because I am against her and her agenda.......I agree with those who think that she should be in jail....I know she is corrupt.

I AM deplorable!

Donald Trump is not the best candidate for President..No......Have we EVER had the best candidate? Nope.

The "deplorable" situation and President has already been shown to us over the last two terms......No need for a "redux"...

No Clinton's allowed should be a sign on the White House.......I mean, I go to my local hardware store and they have pictures of shoplifters from the security cams.....Shame on those thieves! yet, that is the Clinton's..

You want them back? It says more about you than any sorry excuse you can make for yourself.

The New Yorker is great for putting in puppy pens. the earlier that we teach them the true value of "progressives" the smarter they will be.

Rhode Island Reds are handsome. Our neighbors have about 35 Welsummer, and their chicks are really cute. And the great big brown with black speckled eggs the hens lay are very tasty. I still say that the New Yorker is perfect for puppies, better than for chickens as the puppies can cover the printing a lot more quickly.

" You can lead a Horse to water, but, you can't make them drink"......

"Progressives" love the Kool-aid, though..
