I know you are....I swear you thrive on it and sometimes you do it for that sole purpose ..like to get everyone's blood pumping...

Regardless, I admire you for standing the test too and not using ignore features to hide behind..You give and take by choice..The difference between you and two others....

Do you actually put a price on principle? What does that say about your character?

A better question is does Keapernick put a price on principle? He has the right of free speech because of this country's principles; the very country he is showing disrespect for. His actions will be judged by the public. He is an entertainer. Other very talented entertainers (Dixie Chicks) learned their lesson about the cost of free speech. No doubt it is a bold move that may very well come with consequences.
Truly the black community is divided. Some are living the dream. Dr. Carson is a classic example of that. Keapernick has a lot to be thankful for. Kind of a shame he has no positive ideas of how to call attention to his cause.

As for Colin having 'guts', hmmm, maybe lack of judgement would be closer to the truth, civil rights aside, BLM are mostly a group of thugs, if he wants to help Blacks, spend some of his money in the Bay Area helping poor Blacks... East Oakland, Hunters Point, Richman come to mind... Don D.

No, not a lack of "judgement", but most definitely a lock of intelligence for sure !

Rosa Parks chose to sit. It started a revolution, another one is needed. Cops killing people, and never being held accountable. Killers shooting up schools, no votes on fixing the problem. Private prisons where judges get a kickback for long unwarranted sentences. Three recent cases where white boys got probation for rape convictions, while innocent Blacks, proven by DNA still have trouble getting out of jail. Yes, it is time to sit or stand for what is right.

Colin has demonstrated he has more guts than a certain NBA player who has been worshipped as a God! I hope he has the strength to survive the storm that's coming. Comment if you dare! I've only just begun to pop off!

False equivalency, especially after 400 years of lynchings.

Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown appeared on the Monday night edition of the NFL Network's 'NFL Total Access' to speak about San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and his decision to not stand for the United States of America's National Anthem.

"I listened to him and he makes all the sense in the world. He's within his rights and he's telling the truth as he sees it. I am with him 100 percent. ... Now if you ask me 'Would I do that?' No I won't, because I see it a little differently. I'm an American citizen, I pay my taxes, I want my equal rights but this is my country, and consequently I don't want to open up for ISIS or anybody that will take away what we've already gained," Brown explained.

Brown acted as a civil rights activist during his playing career. He was inspired by boxer Muhammad Ali's decision to not enlist in the military for religious reasons. The former Cleveland Browns running back says that he is excited to see athletes using their platform for change.

(More roster cuts are coming. Make sure you’re in the loop – take five seconds to Sign up for our FREE Browns newsletter now!)

"Absolutely. I think Pandora's Box is open. I'm very happy that it is. So many years, we had the great Michael Jordan who stated that Republicans buy sneakers, too. ... And for a couple of generations it was about making money, not messing with your image. And the agents became the pivotal figure for a lot of these guys. And the agents kept reminding them that you have to be this all-American boy to make these kind of dollars and these dollars are astronomical dollars. So the money came into the culture and created a couple of generations of individuals who did not want to speak up."

Kaepernick is the latest professional athlete to speak out. LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul spoke out at the ESPY's earlier this year.

The only people that should leave, are those type people that came here, killed, raped, and maimed everything that wasn't white, even the buffalo, even did the same thing to the people that they forced to leave their own country, and forced them to come here, to so they could use them to kill, rape, and maim. And now have the audacity to attempt do the same in 2016.
God, is almighty, and these people will reap what they have sowed, and they, they know this, and are now scared to death that they may be faced with karma.
They should consider themselves extremely fortunate, that all of the people that they have sinned against, at least the majority of them, do not think like, or are as selfish, and greedy as those type people that committed the sins.
But, there are some that do, think, and are like them, selfish, and greedy, and may actually do to them, what they did to the native Americans, when they migrated here from wherever they came from.
We are all immigrants, by choice, or by force, except Native Americans, and we all should be grateful to be here...But, NOBODY owns the United States of America...And for those that are stupid enough to think that they do own this country, DO NOT belong here, and should just leave.
Because they are not true to the meaning of UNITED States of America, and don't deserve to be here!!!
