New Endorsement Could Be Critical For Donald Trump With Black Voters

By Charles Campbell ~ Aug 27, 2016 ~ Western Journalism

Black Men for Bernie founder Bruce Carter is on a mission to restore hope to black communities across America.

Originally an avid Bernie Sanders supporter, Carter changed his mind about a couple of things when the Vermont senator ended up losing to his main rival, Hillary Clinton.

When internal DNC emails were leaked to the public that implicated foul play through rigging the primary, it became apparent to Carter that he was definitely not going to support Clinton. In his mind, the Democratic presidential nominee was the epitome of cronyism.

In an interview with Breitbart News, Carter explained how the Democratic party hasn’t done anything for the black community in decades, and how his new plan was to gather support for Republican nominee Donald Trump.

“Bernie inspired us to disrupt the status quo because it only works for the elites and not regular people who are struggling,” Carter said. “If black communities vote for Hillary Clinton and Democrats in November, nothing will change because Democrats will continue to believe they don’t have to do anything to earn our votes.”

Carter likens the Democrat abuse of African-Americans to “political slavery.” After reading a Washington Post article about how little the Democratic Party spends on minority-owned companies, he knew it was time to make a change.

According to the report by the Post, the campaign resources spent on minorities is astronomically low:

“National Democratic campaign committees have spent more than $500 million on consultants over the past two elections, but less than 2 percent of it has gone to firms that are run at least in part by racial minorities.”

The Post story also quoted Democratic National Committee vice chairwoman Donna Brazile, considered one of the leading African-American political consultants in the country, as comparing the consultant game to a “racket” in which minority-run firms are not being included.

Brazile said the report is “the most disturbing report I have read on diversity and inclusion in a long time.”

This information led Carter to believe that the supposed champions of African-Americans were actually taking them for granted. After feeling deceived, he’s switched his stance and is putting faith into Trump and the GOP.
“Donald Trump is a business man and a real estate mogul who could provide knowledge and resources to transform urban communities through the development of minority-owned businesses,” Carter said. “With this tour, we’re going to show Mr. Trump and Republicans that the black and minority communities are ready to work with anyone willing to work with us to build opportunities in businesses, employment and housing. We don’t want welfare, we need opportunity.”

“When Donald Trump tells black people, ‘What do you have to lose by voting for me,’ he’s getting close to a message that will work, but it’s not quite there yet,” Carter said.

The Black Men for Bernie founder explained the first priority needs to be educating communities on how the Democrats and certain black leaders have just used them for “personal gain.”

“We’re going to go back to these communities in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and across the country to lead people to the facts about the Clintons’ and Democrats’ failures with our struggling communities,” Carter said. “If Donald Trump can show that he’s willing to do something different for them, then these people will be willing to give him a chance because then they’ll understand that they don’t have anything to lose by abandoning Democrats like Hillary Clinton”

Carter has looked into supporting the Green Party candidate Jill Stein, but knows that actual results will not materialize anytime soon because the lack of its party’s seats in congress. Carter knows progress can be made with the GOP and remains hopeful more people in his community will start to wake up.

“Donald Trump isn’t a typical politician and he isn’t beholden to the same old political powers,” Carter said. “We want to earn our seat at the table in his administration and I think he and the Republicans are smart enough to realize that when we deliver them a historic number of minority votes, they better do a better job than the Democrats have done or they’re never going to get an opportunity like this again.”

Interesting, Don. Now if "WE" could only convince minorities to tune in to the more conservative "alternative" medias. If anyone listen to {or reads} the SLP "drive-by, state-controlled, alphabet channel" media, it's like trying to recover from alcohol and living at a bar. Damn shame. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUMP!!!

BadBob-don't know but will have an answer for you by the end of Sept. Hope you can wait that long. PS. Bruce is a sensible man and we can only hope that enough of his constituents wake up before it is too late. The blacks posting here know full well that they have been used and abused by the democrats for decades and they would be smart to give Trump the opportunity to see what he can do for them. Like Trump says, "what do you have to lose"? Good Luck America !!!

What we all need to realize is if we do'nt work together we will never get this country off it's knee's. It will continue to slide into 3rd world status. Black people need to quit looking in the mirror and turn around and see that they are Americans and we need them to quite harping about slavery which they have never been yes their ancesters were but if they looked at history every person black, white yellow ect has been a slave at some point in history. People sold themselves into endentured slavery to get to the new world knowing they would never be free But their children would. Do'nt see the others having a tantram over it. They moved on. We need for them to realize We do'nt care what color you are WE got over that along time ago and the ones who are racist are a very small minority. Black people need to stand up and join the AMERICAN family we've been waiting for you for along time with our hands extended to reach out and pull you in. We need for you join us as one family to make this work. We are not trying to revive WHITE America just the one that is for the people by the people. no where in the bible or our constitution does it say anything about color. We are all children of GOD and we are all children of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!! This is my opinon and I'm stickin to it
