When interviewed on 60 minutes Trump gave the following for his proposal for health care.

If any of you conservatives can understand it please explain it. That is all:

‘I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now…the government’s gonna pay for it. But we’re going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it’s going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.’

Now he did say he's going to take care of everybody and the government is going to pay for it? Isn't that communism when the government does that? So is Trump a Commie? It's hard to say as he just seems to end in a ramble...

It simply called "salesmanship". The best salesmen make you think you have to have whatever they're selling, make you think you're getting more than you really are, make you believe you're getting a hell of a deal and most of all - make you believe that whatever you're thinking is best for you - is exactly what they're telling you.

Some candidates lie to get votes and some get you to lie to yourself.

Lets put it this way --- He states that he is going to follow the rules already in place to control the illegal aliens. So if you use your head and remember that Obama care gives all illegal aliens free health care. They also get welfare and all the other freebies. You can move all of the free money to health care for the poor that cannot afford health care. That will take care of more than 11 million poor people. By doing this you can also lower everybody's premium back to where they were before obama care. Everybody was happy with their healthcare up to the point of Obama care coming into play. Welfare is already paid by each state and if you get the illegal aliens off the payroll then each state will be able to afford to take care of their own poor, who by the way are American Citizens whereas whereas the illegal aliens are not citizens and did not help build this country and really do not deserve to be supprted by the working people of the USA. You go to their country and you don't get a damn thing free. This goes for anywhere in the world except for the pussified USA.

Sounds like he's going to allow people to pay for their own HealthCare Plans IF THEY CAN... The 30 million that can't are the ones the Government will cover... It will be like the HealthCare System PRIOR TO AVA-OBAMACARE with the Federal Government picking-up the Coverage for the 30 Million people WHO ARE NOT COVERED...

The only way to bring down health care costs is to have competition. The government should have a health care system that would be cheaper than all other insurance companies. If the insurance companies wanted customer, they would be forced to come down on their prices. Again, it's called COMPETITION!!!

What?
Are you serious?
Competition does not exist where one supposed competitor taxes, regulates, and punishes the other, and its unaccountable for its own misdeeds.

Did you the Commie Econonomics 101 online course or something?

I am serious. Competition is the only thing that stimulates economic activity. The government run plans for anything punish competition, they in fact make it illegal. Just ask anybody that does business with the government. Contract bidding is brutal and then you end up with 600 dollar toilet seats. That would never happen with competition in business. The less government does the cheaper things get and it's not just taxes. The Donald wants to return health care to the days of free market. Lets face it, the issue is Insurance companies, not doctors and hospitals. All that needs to happen is they need to be able to compete across State lines, competition will take care of the rest.

PeterS, I don't know what Trumps' health care plan is, but since Dr. Ben Carson is on Trumps team, I'm guessing that he'll be using H.S.A., health savings accounts. Everyone has one, they get a certain amount of money put into each year by the Fed. Gov., the patient, with his/her doctor decide what medical treatments and drugs the patient needs. The patient decides what to do and how to use the health care money he/she has in the H.S.A. Usually, when some one has to budget their money, they are less likely to throw away. If they use it all up before the end of the year, they'll have to pay for any thing they need before their following years ' money is credited.

A few years ago, California passed tort reform, after that, their health care costs ere 70% lower than the rest of the country. But, with tort reform, people could sue the health care practices for millions for any little thing. Then how could people who don't want to work for a living support themselves?
