There may be suggestions but no legal basis to favor Christianity.

Yea, well....I think it was Audie Murphy who said,
"I never met an atheist in a foxhole."

One more thing, i wish someone would interview the
gays in Florida who made it out alive in the Pulse
night club. I wonder what "they said" when the shooting started...

Sometimes, it's NOT needed to state the obvious...We all understand.
Well, most of us do.

Grab a piece of U.S. money.... coins OR paper....READ IT!

They should have outlawed Islam, reclassifying it as a Subversive SUPREMACIST Political as well as a satanicly religious ideology intent on world domination that is incompatible with both democracy and our Constitution. If the people that run this country had guts and wisdom they would do that NOW.

Attempting to force people to be Christian is not doable and counterproductive.

Your right the founding fathers 52 of the 55 had Christian faith, based in Jesus the son of God And sought to protect all from ever having to only believe in one belief, such as Catholic, or Christian . Thus "Protecting our religious liberties "
Which I may add many cults and the occult have taken advantage of.
Also nowhere in the Constitution , or bill of rights do the words "separation of Church and State"
Yet liberals quote it as if it is a law!
Those words in context were meant that Christians and Christianity could be in government, but government had to separate itself from discouraging. Our Christian leaders put "in God we trust" THE TEN COMMANDMENTS " and scriptural quotes on money, government buildings, schools.
The first public school used the holy bible as its primary book to teach school from, hmmmmm

Can you tell who wrote it? And where? When? Who was he talking to? Including the paragraph before and after you will understand why liberals misuse "separation of church and state" and why .

True, but there is a legal basis to favor a belief in a divine being and it is a right to worship said being however an individual wishes. Favoring Christians over other religions is in the mind of - Christians. If you had the ability to do so, wouldn't you want to see that laws favored your favorite NFL team? They'd be guaranteed to win the super bowl every year.

These errors occur when individual rights are replaced by a groups rights, an agenda pushed by the group in question. The Constitutional guarantee of individual liberties, does not authorize a group of individuals to try and win special favors for their group. Groups of individuals may band together if they wish, but may not highjack others rights to do the same. The only groups specifically authorized to exist and have specific rights assigned to them - are the States of the Union.

Declaring something out of ignorance does not make it so.

Check your history moron, the first settlements used the bible as their first law book.

Yes, gossiping got you the stocks, and the like....beating your wife was especially despicable and got you hard time.....first offense. Social assistance was done quietly by the local Christian Church.....which were the vast majority of all places of worship in the colonies/USA. The Indians thought that Christians were crazy.....

I'm no Audie Murphy , not by a long shot. But Dam man, I never met one in Korea either.

20 of us, all friends went over. three were atheists. Only three came back plus body bags and parts.
Only one of us was an atheist. The optimum word is " was "
