Does Trump Plan to ONLY Deport the Violent Illegal Immigrants? I just heard Trump say that the first ones to be deported were the violent illegal immigrants? Why isn't he going to try...

I just heard Trump say that the first ones to be deported were the violent illegal immigrants? Why isn't he going to try the violent offenders and put them in jail instead of just deporting them where they can just walk back across the border and steal, rape, and kill again? After all, what started all this was the guy in SF who raped and killed that beautiful white girl and had been deported FOUR TIMES! How is doing the same thing going to prevent further violent crime!

Do you guys even listen to what Donald Trump says???

Do you think he may know, once convicted and after serving their time they are deported..That is procedurally how it's done..Convicted, time served, deported...

I was listening to the Pence interview and both Pence (and a clip of Trump) stated very clearly that the most violent were going to be "rounded up" and deported first. It didn't sound like they would be tried for anything. This is no different than what happens now as the person who gave Trump his legs with this topic was deported four times and he came back to commit more crimes each time.

Well, if all that is going to happen than the border is thrown open--especially if Trump does what he does best and uses cheap labor (Mexicans) to build his wall.

I just find it ironic that conservatives think our boarders are going to be more secure as they are now. I just watched a few minutes of Border Wars and the majority of illegals who cross the border are driven across because the don't have the manpower or technology to search enough cars and trucks--as soon as anyone tries to cross the wall they are picked up on infrared and rounded up--meaning the wall would change nothing compared to what we have now. Aren't conservative overseeing the Border Patrol Agency? So increase the funding and hire more agents and give them better equipment. Monies originate with congress--not the president...

A lot lacking in intention when you only have a few minutes to reply..

I'll take that route rather than leaving it to supposition of intent..I didn't see the interview so it makes it more difficult to define, if defining is even needed...

Did see a bit of Trump's IA event and heard some of what he said..

Got some rather nice comments about his "change on immigration"..The realistic goals of rounding them all up and shipping them out, etc..

They also said for as much supposed dissection within the GOP supporters, maybe "that's a little blown out of proportion too"..

Who knows, Pete, all the games played and so accepted by the gullible people is how I see it ...

I'm ready for some debates on issues and the future of our country as they see it..Not that either will achieve once in...Just works out that way doesn't it...

PeterS-Trump will build a wall and most likely increase patrols at the border while construction is going on to prevent those deported from coming back in. A few National Guard units along the border would stem the flow until a permanent structure is built. Trump will surround himself with people who know what needs to be done. ( i.e. Giuliani would be good as head of Homeland Security ) . I do not believe Rudy would allow killers to roan around freely and would incarcerate them until they can be effectively deported. Conversely, Hillary thinks the border is just fine as is. PS. Yes, we listen to what Trump is saying but are smart enough to know it cannot all happen overnight. Plans have to be developed and implemented. Good Luck America !!!

Well, according to the border patrol the majority of illegal immigrants drive across the border and given the traffic that comes across daily you would have to stop commerce between the two countries to check the millions of cars and trucks that come over the border daily. The border wall is all hyperbole, doesn't target the actual problem, and was just thrown in to placate those with brains too small to think critically about a problem. And besides that, so long as our businesses insist on hiring illegal aliens they will continue to find a way across the border. That, you can most certainly take to the bank...
