At least you don't live in the biblical story cities of Sodom or Gomorrah! There is no promise to Christians that the world here will be transformed to their needs and liking.

Romans 12:2
βAnd be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.β

If one were to submit that the present world and it's people exist and affect you in exactly the manner and degree your God has so ordained, would you disagree?

The problems and "break downs" in society that really gained wind since the early 60's is the Churches fault for remaining silent and not defending the faith with anywhere near the vigor those against the church have been fighting. The voices "defending the faith " have been a whisper with the church's people going on about their daily business as usual. Just now after the foothold/strongholds have taken their hold are we hearing a "few" more voices crying out, in hopes of defending the faith.
This is prophecy in action, " first we must see a falling away of the Church". Over the past several years we can see this happening right before our eyes.
