About the Rapture

I have attached an article that I wrote 3 years ago, which will Biblically give us insight to the fact that there will be NO Pre-Tribulation Rapture! It is of great importance that end-time Christians have a clear understanding of this, so that we will be prepared, just as the 5 wise virgins (out of 10 virgins) were prepared (25th chapter of the Book of Matthew).

They won't listen, they've been conditioned by their dead church to listen only to the traditions of men, or the doctrine of demons.

Thank you Frank for your feedback. I use to be of the "Pre-Tribulation Rapture" persuasion. However, after many years of diligent study of the Scriptures, I came to realize that the Bible does not support that view. It is not a Biblical truth.

I became a Christian 40 years ago. Through my diligent search of the Scriptures over the years, I have now come to realize that there have been certain doctrines that have crept into the Church (which the Apostle Paul warned would happen) over the course of the past 2000 years, which are not true Biblical doctrines, but have become so ingrained and accepted by the mainstream Church today, that they have become traditional Church doctrines. Most people do not question tradition or want to go against the grain of tradition.

A couple of great truths that I have come to realize in my years as a Christian are:

1. The road that leads to Spiritual truth, is no easy road.
2. Many Christians, when presented with a Spiritual truth that is an inconvenient truth for them, will "CHOOSE" to "IGNORE or "REJECT" that truth.

I am in agreement with your feedback.

Alan

Hi I'm Sue. Are you by chance from the Finch family in the Miami, Fla area? I grew up with the Finch's - many many years ago.

But on to the topic....

We were taught pre-trib rapture. However, I have been leaning towards a mid-trib rapture as of late. As in the days of Noah, so shall the end of times be.

We are definitely in a time like the times of Noah! Good today is considered bad, and bad is considered good. It is obvious to all who believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son and our Savior. I am looking in Revelation - the 6th seal. I believe it is made clear that before or immediately after the great earthquake, we will all be raptured, just before God's Wrath begins at the midpoint of the Tribulation. I believe satan is making war with "the saints" already in many ways today. However, the "war" will intensify once the NWO leader takes over. I believe that in America, since Obama took the position of President, the spiritual war in our land increased greatly. After 8 years of his admin., we are being told what we cannot preach from our pulpits. Students cannot read their Bibles during lunchbreaks in schools. College campuses are holding rally's against Israel, riots and police shootings are commonplace, sudden stabbings on buses and trains, and bombings and shootings of innocent people. It has already begun. The war against all things good has begun.

However, why would God make His true saints go through the days of His wrath, when we are His own? Just as Noah and his family were closed in the ark, by God Himself - just as God's judgment began with the first drop of rain - we too, must be taken out safely by God Himself, just before His wrath is thrown onto the sinful earh.

I continue to keep an open mind on this subject, but so many great preachers and evangelists who love the Lord and serve Him in great ways, continue to say we will be raptured pre-trib! Why would God keep them from seeing His truth?

Bottom line, Jesus is coming soon. We, as Christians need to be getting our spiritual lives in order. Period. We need to serve our Lord and spread His truth. Whether we stay or leave during the tribulation, the end result is our hope. We will all be with our Lord, for eternity.

In the meantime, we must be continually renewing our minds and serving Christ! God does promise to be with us always!!

Thank you, Alan, for this post. You have given me more material to research. Either way, Lord return quickly!!

Thank you Sue for your feedback. I have many relatives that I have never met or even know where they live. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. My wife and myself live in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona.

You are correct in the fact that Christians will not have to suffer through God's Wrath. However the Bible is quite clear that Christians will suffer through Satan's Wrath.

About your question on why God keeps so many Preachers, Teachers & Evangelists from seeing His truth? Just this morning (before receiving your feedback), I made the decision to start posting a number of articles that I have written on the General Chit-Chat section & Faith, Religion & Spirituality section of this site, which I hope will shed a great deal of light on just how far off-course that today's Church has gotten from the original New Testament Church pattern that the Lord intended for His Church to function under.

I became a Christian 40 years ago. In October of 2007, the Lord brought me out of a lengthy 15 year wilderness experience. When I had been a Christian for 35 years, the Lord put understanding in my Spirit that He had given me a Christian writing Ministry, in which He was then releasing me to fulfill. In this day & age, waiting for 35 years to be released into what the Lord would have one to do, is just simply unheard of. This is the reason, that when I write my articles, I do so with a great deal of confidence!

I have received a great deal of rejection, but I will be faithful in doing what the Lord has been preparing for, for all of these years!

Blessings,
Alan

Jesus spoke in parables as to not enlighten the "Sons of the devil". You'll might only succeed in letting the ones who should not make it to heaven, as is written in scripture.

War was made with the saints from the beginning of time. We have always been in a war with satan. satan is upping his antics now that the time is short.

The 10 Virgins: five were ready for the door to be opened to the wedding. Five were not ready. Five accepted Christ and had their lamps lit (salvation). Five were not ready and had no lit lamps. They lazied around the subject of salvation and took their time. When the door to the wedding was opened, the five with unlit lamps were left behind the closed door. Just as the people who mocked Noah when building the ark and shared the warning of destruction that was coming - ignored his warnings and did not prepare - were left behind the closed door to the ark and they were all lost.

There will be a rapture. When, we do not know. But just as God gave his "own" a way to escape His wrath in the flood, so is He going to give us an escape from His wrath to come during the tribulation. We Christians are at war with satan now. Just look at what the Christians are going through in the middle east. America is just beginning to see the battles ahead for the Christian Americans. Yes, we will be bombarded with persecution in all forms before the rapture. However, God's wrath will be given to those who were not ready - those who reject His Son - and missed His open door to the wedding supper.

Bottom line? People will believe what they want to believe. And God will work things out as He plans and in His time. We must all be prepared for whatever overtakes us. In the meantime we must pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world to keep our eyes on Christ and draw strength from Him and His Word. We need to pray especially for those suffering such horrific persecution for Christ in the Middle East!!

Even so Lord Jesus, come quickly!!!

I prefer to call it biblically sound. I have done my own research asking God to show me HIS truth and not man’s interpretation of it, and I found a resounding YES! There will be a rapture of the church. The “when” is what is foggy. Just as God saved Noah and his family from His wrath on the world, and Lot from His wrath on Sodom and Gomorrah, we too will be taken from this world before His wrath. Lot wasn’t particularly perfectly right with God at the time, and he was saved from the destruction. Why would He make us go through His wrath now?
Bottom line? We are all to be ready and waiting for His return. Period. It will happen when God chooses.

Those 5 virgins were out of oil and went to get some and met up with the anti-Christ, Luke 17:36, Matt 24:36-41 , two in the field and in their bed and one of each will be taken. Those non-chaste virgins will come back at the 7th or last Trump when Christ will be here and has started the marriage supper to present those pure Saints to GOD. Read 2 Thes. 2:3 satan comes first at the 6 th trump when the vials and bowls are poured out. Jesus said let no man deceive you, for many shall come in His name, saying "I am Christ" and shall deceive many (5 virgins). Verse :8 is when Christ comes back to defeat satan and put him in the pit, but before they will deliver you up to the synagogues (of satan) and you will let the Holy Spirit speak through you,- Mark 13:11.
In Rev 2:7-11 and 3:6-11 these are 2 of 7 churches that Christ approves of, the other 5 have their light removed because they don't teach what He put in the Bible, His Words. If your harvested in the winter you've already messed up -Mark 13:18. Jesus said to learn the parable of the fig tree, now not later, for you to learn His Way. :28. But take ye heed; behold, I have foretold you all things,-23
Pray that GODs will be done and be a "watchman" don't try to hurry Him along,- Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! To what end is it for you? The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
There is No Rapture, I study down to the root meaning of the words, line by line, precept by precept.

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

I Thessalonians 4:16-17

That is what the Bible says to me.

It continues in Revelation and tells of the 2nd coming of Jesus - it will be when He goes on His horse, and will all his saints on their horses, to conquer satan and his minions. Our Lord and His armies will defeat satan, chain him and the false prophet into hell for 1,000 years. Then Jesus will reign over Israel and the whole earth for that 1,000 years. Then God will release satan for a short period of time so satan can deceive all those who were still alive on earth after Christ’s defeat on earth - those who never repented during the tribulation years but lived through it all. Then once that time is complete, satan and all his followers, including human followers who rejected Christ, will be put into the abyss forevermore.

It’s all there in God’s Word. I believe it and look forward to Christ’s return. I do not look forward to the persecution we may have to suffer, however, my Lord is worth it. And none of it changes my excitement about seeing Jesus’ face!

We must be busy telling others about Jesus’ wonderful gift of salvation!!

The subject object is in 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead) that ye sorrow not, even others which have no hope. In other words, those asleep people that we should not have sorrow for are in heaven with God, we are not going to go with Christ because the saints which are in heaven are coming down with Christ, this is specified in verse :15 "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and "remain" (here on earth, in the flesh) unto the coming of the Lord, (7th Trump) shall not precede (prevent) them which are asleep (with and in Christ). V:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel and with the Trump of God (7th Trump) and the dead in Christ shall rise first. These are the ones who are in heaven with Christ, on the right side of the Gulf. In Ecclesiastes 12:6 when the silver cord breaks in the clay pot (our bodies) V:7 then the dust returns to the ground and the spirit returns to God.

The second letter to the Thessalonians was to clarify what Paul had written in the first letter. In 2:1 the gathering to Christ and not to be shaken in mind by word or letter, (the 1 Thess letter), And not to let any man deceive you, for that day (day of the Lord which is 1000 years) shall not come except there be a falling away first. ( I wonder if it because of the example of the 5 virgin or the people in the field or in bed, and the time was shortened because antichrist would deceive the saints) "and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition -6th Trump.

In verse :8 then that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming. This is the 7 th Trump, no where does it say that He comes twice at the 5 or 6th trump, its say that we will be here until that twinkling of an eye when Christ arrives we will be changed into our spiritual bodies to join him in the "cloud", this word is a figure of speech like a cloud of locust or a cloud of witnesses. In the "air" is Pneuma- spirit body.

Well it was good speaking to you via text and I hope you now understand that the anti-christ is going to say, lets go, I'm here to rapture you away. Don't let any man deceive you.

I’ve been studying prophecy since a young child. My mother taught me well, along with 12 years of Christian school and then Bible College. A 6 year stint in New York pulled me away from the Lord. He took me out of NY, which I’m so grateful for. He never gave up on me! I asked the Lord to fix me. And He is still in the process. My beginning prayer after New York “took me”?
“Please, Lord, show me YOUR truth - not man’s interpretation of it!” Ever since then He has been revealing His truth. I have also been asking Him for HIS truth on the rapture. He is showing me. Perhaps you should do the same.
Oh! And only God is behind the seed planting, when the seed is Truth.
All that said, the most important thing is to know Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior, repent of our sins, ask Jesus to forgive us, then ask Him into our life. THEN, strive to know Him and His truth. One thing I have learned well is that religion is man made. Jesus, and our relationship with Him should be our main goal. The rapture? We must be prepared, be strong in the Lord, and serve Him as we await His return. He will return. When He does, we will not know what day/hour/year. I will not waste time arguing over something that is obviously and completely in His hands. We just need to be ready, and concentrate on knowing Him more each day. HE is what matters! Without Jesus, we have emptiness and no future. Then when He returns, so shall we ever be with the Lord!! Maranatha!!!!
Good chatting with you Frank.
