You have a point, the secrecy acts provision do not expire and once you have been 'read' in you are subject to those laws, with no expiration date. The laws apply when you have been given classified information even if that same information is published in a public forum. When I worked at White Sands Proving Ground the missiles to be tested and the times of the tests were classified. Yet, I could read that information in the El Paso Times on the same day. It didn't matter, it was classified to me and I couldn't discuss it if if it was in the papers for all to see.
