Your response is a little confusing. The way you were talking I thought YOU were trying to be John Wayne, calling out the Military and all. It's obvious of course you have no stomach to go to Quantico or any other Military installation and spout this silly drivel because you know they would call out the MP's to escort you away from the place and hand you over to civilian authorities who would then take you to the local VA and then transfer you to Menlo Park where you probably should be anyway. Just to help you a little it is not the job of the Military to protect the people, only to protect the country. The civilian police are supposed to protect the people and only in an extreme situation will the National Guard be deployed internally and not against a whole class of people or religious believers of some type.
We will leave my Military experience for another time but I have visited most countries in the world in various capacities
including Vietnam. Frankly I think you "don't get it". Todays Military is obviously different from Vietnam times just like
WW2 was different from WW1 but the core of entities like the USMC have flourished and have remained true to their mission, notwithstanding Gays and women serving.Time to enjoy the pasture old chum. Anything else is not worth the blood pressure.
