These seem to be the words of 'Lije" Cummings since he signed the Democrat report about Benghazi. Too many times all 5 of the Democrat members of the investigative committee stayed away all day, and they mentioned Donald Trump in their final report 23 times. They do very much want to protect Hillary but surely they know that most of us know that Trump wasn't running for president back on September 11, 2012. What kind of liars are they, really speaking?

If I'm not mistaken, the select committee was headed by the guy with the weird hair cut. This same guy approved the final report, but added that we should read the 800 page report and make our own conclusions about what happened. What the hell was he doing in those two years? Do you have any proof that the Democrats stayed away from the committee meetings? I don't think you do, as they were more than interested in how the hearings were being conducted. Additionally, two republican committee members published an addendum to the final report castigating Clinton because the final report did not find fault with Clinton. Only in the rethugnican world can an unranked member of a committee be allowed to add to an opinion to an official report. You are going to be highly disappointed when the FBI report is released......be prepared.

I think there is a good chance that you might well be mistaken, Jack. You seem to not know that the Democrats released their version of what was found in the investigation. Also, you don't seem to know that old 'Lije' was the head man. Do you not know both parties released their versions with only Dems signing the Dem version and Republicans signing their version. You didn't see any Dems taking part in Gowdy's presentation on TV, did you?

I think you need to read my link so you can learn what is going on but I bet you haven't and won't.

The report released by the Democrats was not a part of the official report released by the committee. I was a separate report highlighting their version of what was happening on the committee, and it was not attached to the final report. The addendum to the official report, written by Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Mike Pompeo of Kansas, was allowed to be attached by Gowdy just to keep up the denigrating rhetoric against Clinton, which was the crux of the committee efforts in the first place. This act proved that the Benghazi crap was not about finding truth, but more about tainting Clinton. Over seven million dollars pissed away due to blind GOP hatred. You should be proud.

So you are so simple that you didn't see that Trump's name came up 23 times in the Democrat report although he wasn't running for any office in 2012. Hillary's name may have come up in Gowdy's report more than Trump's but she was at least involved in the Benghazi event and coverup.

Rep. Pompeo is my representative and I am sure going to vote for him next month in our primary. Does that make me stupid? If so, is there a chance that you know how some states run their primaries? I never voted in a primary till the mid-70s because I was registered as an independent and couldn't vote in a party primary. I would guess that you didn't hear Pompeo talking after Gowdy did. True?

Again, the Democratic report is not a part of the committee report, so Trump's name has no bearing on what they wrote. How many times did Clinton's name come up in the official report, and how many times did Clinton's name appear in the addendum to the official report? The report verified that there was no cover up, but people like your congressman are too hateful to accept what the facts revealed, so they have to continue the lie....and people like you are too blind to see what they're doing. Maybe you should read the report, and not some pundit's opinion.

Gowdys head hunting mission failed miserably, it amounted to a multi million taxpayer dollar fart in the wind. The email crap is going down the same sewer a big stench about nothing.

Would you consider it pissed away if you thought they were witch hunting a Republican? Of course not. I can't even call you transparent. You are just so ignorant you are easy to see through.

I very seldom respond to your rants because you are so indoctrinated by the left. You seem outraged over the money spent on the Benghazi investigation. Are you likewise enraged at the $600,000 for one night stay in Morocco by Michelle, the two girls and her mother?

There you go with your hypothetical bull shit. There were many opportunities to dwell on republican missteps during the Bush years such as:

Lying about WMDs
Awarding lucrative Iraq reconstruction contracts to Halliburton
Lack of body armour for US troops
Refusing to let Katrina ruin his holiday
Ignoring Pre-9/11 Terror Memo
Permitting Torture
"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job"

There were no witch hunts started when these events occurred because it would have been counterproductive to accomplishing the peoples work. Since the rethugnican party has nothing to offer the people except hate filled rhetoric (you cannot list one positive accomplishment initiated by the rethugnicans that benefits the people they represent), so they do what they do best, lie, denigrate, stymie progress, suppress votes, push to make decisions that should only be made by individuals (abortions).

No WMDs?

You maintain that the Kurds were, in reality, gassed with camel farts? Or maybe Liberal propaganda, which is deadlier.
Bush responded to Katrina far better than your boy Obama responded to the gulf oil spill. Much of the problems with Katrina came from local government screwups.

Regarding torture, the Bush legal department found it legal, much like the Obama legal department has handed your boy his desired results. Bush was an asshole, and still light years better than Obama.

Michelle Obama, Sasha Obama, Malika Obama, mother, security detail, staff, emergency communications, and a host of other activities and support personnel, all in the act of promoting good will and encouraging the progress of women and girls in the region. It's called practicing what you preach and such trips goes with the position she holds. When you get the time look up the cost of Laura Bush's trips to Africa and get back to me. Try a little harder not to respond to my posts.

No WMDs? br br br http://www.usnews.com/opinion/... (show quote)

Even if the Iraqis had WMD, there was no threat to this country, and you now see the results of that ill informed invasion of a sovereign country that has cost us thousands of American and Iraqi lives. Whjo gives a shit if Saddam was gassing his own people? They've been killing each other for over 1500 years, and we sure as hell can't stop it. Just look at this past weekend in Iraq. The gulf oil spill was man made and it is not up to the President to respond to disasters created by man. With Katrina, the main problem evolved around the dikes, maintained and owned by the US Corp of Engineers. Since when is the COE a local government branch?

The Bush legal team wrongly found it to be legal to torture but international law said it was illegal. An international tribunal has convicted Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld in absentia, of war crimes and arrest warrants have been issued. You will never see either of them venture out of the country again for the rest of their lives as they know that they will be arrested.
