Perhaps we need more laws to enforce official narratives?

Laws requiring mandatory prison time for 1) questioning 9-11; and, 2) questioning the resurrection of Jesus would please some posters here. A world based upon official narratives--much like George Orwell described would put to rest the unending debates.

After 9-11 we attacked Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush himself admitted they had nothing to do with 9-11. Bush classified 28 pages implicating Saudi Arabia and we did not attack Saudi Arabia. Now the Senate has passed a law allowing 9-11 victims to sue the Saudis for damages.

Someone here make sense of all this, please.

Paul Craig Roberts (Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury during the Reagan administration)

The forever changing 9/11 story is entering a new phase. Blame is being transferred from Osama bin Laden to the Saudi Arabian government.

Putting aside Trump's word that he is 1000% behind Israel, his rhetoric does appeal to those who put America first.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eaT_ThSy4w I'm disturbed by his "thumbs up" to the turning event in these times.

Don't worry about the small stuff. Heaven knows there's enough huge stuff to keep us

occupied. Like, ever wonder how people got over illness, had surgeries etc. in the 1800s.
We may not have lived so long, but we had time to go fishin because we didn't have to work our buns off to pay for Obama care or illegals and we didn't have people coming in under the guise of friendship to change our laws and religion...and lop our heads off if we didn't obey. And we went to Church on Sunday, had dinner on the grounds, bible study during the week and prayer when WE ALL Sat DOWN to eat our meals together.!!

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” Carl Sagan

That was excellent.

I watched it in real time and still loved watching it once more. His head is on straight, the vocalist was absolutely first-rate.

Yes, it is "complicated" and yes, even 'GW' struggled with it. The bare fact remains, however, that almost all those evil creatures involved with killing thousands of innocent American men, women, children on 9/11 actually had solid ties with the Saudis.

Afghanistan is widely known as 'Obama's War', is it not?

Anyhow, the clear vision and right-headedness of Trump will most likely take the right direction to straighten this all out. Here's hoping..

It just may be we have enough laws. Perhaps, we should try enforcing some of them.
Bring back the death penalty for truly heinous crimes, as long as the evidence is positive.

I could argue against the death penalty -- IF the prisons were not run so much like summer camps and if 'life' actually meant 'life'.

My relatives who are LEOs go out, collar the gremlins and the revolving doors spin so fast some of the apprehended thugs are on the streets before my relatives. Yes, the cops bitch... but the politicians determine what's what in the <ahem> penal system.

Excuse me, did you call me a bitch? I really resent that. I'm always on the side of the cops. They're doing a good job and getting a bum rap for it. There may be a few who use their authority wrongly but for the most part, they are the brave. Shakespeare had it right...first let's kill all the lawyers, but not the good ones. Just as there are good cops there are good lawyers and good people. I'm not brilliant, so I don't know why I am on here. Maybe because I felt a need to say the things I've been feeling. This is my country, land of the brave! I have a need to defend what's left of it.

"Excuse me, did you call me a bitch? " WTF?

You talkin' to me?

If I call someone something, there's no doubt as to my meaning.. that said... you must be addressing that to someone else, right?

Carol explains just after she makes shit up--alleging having been called a bitch.

Blind patriotism is one of our challenges. The founding fathers ideals and values are above the grasp of the symbol-minded.

No, Carol, I'm not saying you are dull-witted. You said that about yourself.

It was Maturin and I misread him he said cops bitch and the way I read it was my relatives are cops, bitch. People Often drop commas. I apologize for my take on it.
But it wasn't your business and I don't feel that you're tremendously brilliant either.
And I don't feel an urge to use VULGAR language, but you go ahead. I may not be brilliant like you, but I'm not all that dumb either.
