Get your facts straight. Kyle put in his book what was on his DD214. Now there is discovered some discrepancies between the DD214 and his personnel file. The personnel file moves with him from station to station and is handled/updated by a different company clerk at each duty station. DD214 is the "final" permanent document. Kyle had no reason not to use the information on his DD214. He probably did not have access to his personnel file. I never saw mine, but I still have my DD214.
