not responsible

We have become a nation of " I'm not responsible ". No matter what happens- it's someone else's fault. The country is in disarray, the democrats blame the republicans and visa versa so - no on is responsible. Spill hot coffee on yourself? Mc donalds did it. Fall of your porch? Car blowing horn caused it. Traffic accident, both drivers blaming each other - no is responsible. Child not performing at school, bad teacher, bad school, something else, neither child nor parent is responsible. States blame the feds, feds blame the states. Get caught spying? Whistle blower is responsible. New health care site screwed up? "I didn't know, I'm not responsible ". The list goes on and on.
In order to complain that your rights have been violated, you must be responsible for them. Always blaming everyone else insures that - no one is responsible. You can hold people accountable but you can not force them to take responsibility. It is time for folks to take responsibility for them selves. Blaming someone else has never solved anything. I have more respect for someone who says " I screwed up " than on who says " I didn't do it ". I would also trust the former, never the latter.

I have to agree with you. But we have allowed the reason it is so. For 50 years or more we have handed over our children to be educated by the left useing Karl Marx's system and never paid attention to what was going on. NOW we are paying for it. I fear is will never get fixed because we have two and a half generations that have a total lack of understanding about democracy and Capitalism. The fall will come..

I totally agree, but I recognize that sometimes blaming someone is justified and truthful. Sometimes the one doing the blaming is the injured party and the denial is coming from the guilty. But I believe you and I are of one mind - our country has become a nation of worthless physical and mental wimps who cannot stand the stress of independence and responsibility; ergo will give up freedoms before they will do any exercise to save those freedoms.

yep, wimpy and irresponsible. They think that if they wait long enough - miracle - the Gov will solve all their problems without them having to lift a finger. I'm going to go look for a lamp to rub.
