I really liked the old format better. Sorry, I know changes needed to be made, I understand but think it needs to be tweaked a little bit more.
Will take some time to get use to but I think in the end with small tweaks it will be fine. I have no security programs that have alerted me there is a problem.

Same here I thought that I was on a different website at first.
Take some getting used to is right! I also thought I was on a different site. Oh well....the old saying, "It is what it is".

I liked the old format 100 times better than this. It sure is running slow to. Needless to say, I don't take to changes very well. I'm old fashioned and stuck in my ways...lol!
With Windows 10 I notice no speed change. The name or icon for the poster is a little small making it harder to see whom posted, reply box is too large and what was posted is a bit small.

I like the changes very clean looking on Windows 10 currently but will check it out on Linux later as that is my main OS.

The home page which features " The Most Active Discussions " forces the user to scroll down through the entire texts of all the topics.
Would it not be more convenient to simply list these topics by title ?
It seems like a waste of space and data.
It is also inconvenient for those of us who use the home page for the purpose of seeing who is currently active on the site.
Before, it was immediately accessible by simply clicking the " Home " option.
Now we are forced to scroll down through all of the " Most Active " texts to get to the current users list.
It would be much simpler and convenient if you would just display the " Most Active Discussions " in a list instead of the entire text of each topic.
Then if we choose to view the text of a "Most Active Discussion", we could click on it and read.
Another problem is evident when selecting a topic to review.
Before, the old format allowed the user to click on the very last comment posted on the topic.
Now the user is forced to begin at the first text and must scroll through all comments to get to the last.

What changes? Where am I anyway.
Agree space seems to be wasted, every time I post I have to scroll down to send (post). It should show whatever it is replying to and there are way too many font sizes, like my post is large, reply to is smaller and my user name is even smaller.

I just now noticed the option that allows the ability to click to the last comment of a particular topic.
I am a hopeless neo-luddite.
I can't stand it when something that I am familiar with, suddenly changes.
I can't help but believe that political correctness will soon dominate this site.
I hope I am wrong.

Click My Profile. Scroll down to Custom View Settings. Enable "Hide active discussions on the home page" option.
This is covered in the Help pages, link at the top , which I encourage everyone to read.

There were two links -> and =>.
-> led to the last post in the topic.
=> led to the last post in the topic which you've read.
I removed -> since it makes no sense to keep both links. Stats show that 99% of the time when a user returns to a topic, he/she isn't really looking for the last post, but for the last post he/she read, to continue reading where previously left off.
So => is still there. Right next to the title.

I also wonder why we need such a large reply box.
