There is too much of a divide between those of Us on what is really wrong with our system.

Which is not good as the problems affect Us all pretty much the same.

We are in the boat together & each of Us is rowing against the other one & we are never going to get any where that way.

It may be better if we just stopped rowing for a while & came up with a game plan that had a chance to work.

Each "side" of an issue, any and every issue, panders to our self interests - and we pick a side, depending on where we believe our self interests lie - and stick to it out of fear and confusion. Clarity is anathema to manipulation - so clarity is studiously avoided.

There is little money to be made through unity, but enormous amounts made through disunity, confusion, conflict and turmoil. Now you know why we are discouraged from trying to "get together".

There has been many setbacks on our getting to this time in History.

It is only through Unity that we have gotten to this point in History.

We are a work in progress & there is much more progress needed.

We are at a point in time where we can make great strides to spend our Unity wisely & make a great gain in gaining our Destiney.

At this time as never before in History have we the means to deal with each other Peacefully.

All of Us like those of Us on this Forum need to put aside our personal interests in searching for matters that affect Us jointly. For only then will our Personal Interests be safe.

It is only in the safety of each of Us that any of Us can be safe.

It is only in our likenesses that we can enjoy our differences.

It is only in protecting others Personal Interests can our personal interest be protected.

That's how rules & laws come about,

UNITY is gained by putting aside some Personal Interests
In the best interest of others.

Influence others yes. By granting others the space to live with you.

Then as to understanding another 2 things are they good or bad. Then comes wisdom. That's just one. Its the GOD ALMIGHTY. His HOLY WORD. This is where those who aren't in the CHRISTIAN FAITH will have a time of thinking that through.

The United States of America was once the greatest Nation on Earth - then we decided to retire and rest on our laurels.

We no longer do the hard work that MADE us a great Nation, preferring to demand that others bow to us, wearing the crown of past glories.

We each demand our rights be granted to us at birth - and contribute nothing in return - while complaining about what little is required of us as citizens.

Were it up to me, all citizens would be required to give military service for 2 years after High School. No deferments, no buying out of this obligation and no exemptions. Both the young citizen and the whole country would benefit immensely, by producing young people with a better knowledge of their country, their rights AND their obligations, as well as a better understanding of themselves and where their career paths lie.

I would also reinstitute the Civilian Construction Corp, to rebuild America's infrastructure and ensure that no able bodied American lacked for a job. We can never go wrong reinvesting in ourselves and our citizenry.

But - that's just me.

There may not be many but you are not alone.

The draft wasn't a bad thing to me. I did tell the motor pool sergeant what he could to with the sections truck when he asked me to pull motor stables after he let another section use it. When my officer hear the news He just said that they were just to leave his boy alone. End of story.

Being in S-1 we used the the truck maybe twice a year on field movements. I was to pull motor stables every day.

When promotions were due I was always promoted.

I handle payrolls for enlisted men. What a mess some of them had.

My grandfather was in the WPA for awhile.

You get at the root of it in which NO ONE is talking about- that corruption is not an inconvenient characteristic of the system- it IS the system. A socioeconomic model that thrives on endless waste and cyclical-consumption, perpetual warfare, resource-depletion and the fairytale of "infinite growth" can never be stable for the majority of people. Nor was it ever meant to be.

The Judeo-Christian religion is the most prolific faith on earth today, and being propelled by TBN [Trinity Broadcasting Network] to every corner of the world, in every language. It's quite easy to see why barbaric 5th century radical Islam HAS to keep ALL Islamic peoples from "assimilating" into ANY culture but Islam; and even with the constant "Wahabi" indoctrinations and obligated consistent study of the 5th century Qur'an and Sharia law, many, many Muslims are turning to Jesus, even with the "Apostate" threat of barbaric torture and eventual death to the offending Muslims. Judeo-Christianity is now the fastest growing culture and religion in the dark shadows of Iran and China and North Korea and Russia, Etc., and Jesus Christ is now alerting the entire planet earth to His "Second Coming."
