Hitler served in WWI. He knew the Jews were responsible for bringing the U.S. into the war against Germany which caused Germany's defeat. Hitler knew that Jews were prominent in the reparations Germany had to pay to the victors of the war. When Hitler first took power, it was the Jews who declared war against Germany and attempted to destroy Germany's economy.

That "declaration of war" against Germany was a few Jews who saw the hand writing on the wall and put out a call to all Jews to boycott German goods. The movement never went anywhere in Germany. This so-called declaration of war had little influence on Hitler and his Nazi henchmen. They were already committed to dealing with the "Jewish problem."
