After the first debate, Romney acted like he had lost interest and didn't even want to be there. When the subject of going for a third term came up among his following, he said "Well, a lot can happen between now & the elections".

Well Rove certainly seems to have an affiliation--more like an affliction and I'm glad he took it to the right side of the road. And I don't know if it was 2012 that did the awakening. If that were true it would have been 2008. No, Trump seems to be stirring a new political beast. Some for him and some against him. It will be interesting to see who is who and what is what as I think it could well be what determines the election--sometimes I like to be painfully obvious...

Most people are grossly underestimating Trump,he has had years to think about all of this and he would not have jumped in without all areas and possible scenarios planned out.I don't think anyone is going to spring something on him he isn't totally prepared for,some of these smart ass politicians (aka Karl Rove and others)are in for some big surprises.He has an army of trusted advisers from all walks of life planning and preparing for any situation.On the other side are a bunch of political hacks and no nothing media people that live in the moment and anything that happens is a surprise to them.I would bet he is even prepared to handle something that may have been overlooked by someone.He hasn't been caught yet and the people out to get him have been dropping cluster bombs for months.

How I wish I could believe as you do re the martial law. Personally I believe that is THE reason for firing so many high ranking military personnel along the way. I believe his ego is so ridiculously overly inflated and his greed so intense that I believe he has every intention of staying right where he is - primarily on the golf cart learning how to golf , and once in a while in the Oval office doing some "work". Will the newbies march him out in the case he wants to remain king? We will probably have an opportunity to see.

We have seen so many "that can't happen here" instances that HAVE happened right here. It would not surprise me if this is another one of them. So many people say the constitution would not allow something like that to happen-but Obama has utter contempt for the constitution, and has been subverting it as often as he wishes-so not much protection there. I too hope I am wrong, but after watching Obama marching "forward" with zero accountability , and virtually no opposition, it's hard to believe that Obama wouldn't think he could get away it

Yes, why anyone would think the Constitution, or the "law', or Congress, or the SCOTUS would step in and help the citizens seems to me bizarre as none of the above have done diddly to help us so far even though they have to see the same destructive decisions and policies that we have seen. They aren't blind, though one could think they are pretending blindness to enable them to do NOTHING worthwhile.

In my view it is time to welcome anarchy which would be better than this oligarchy. NONE of us signed on for this travesty that calls itself "government", it is OUR country, and I think we are being challenged to claim it.
