I'm neither for it nor agin' it. But I wall make occasional comments. Such as:

Senator Cruz has the ability to stand firm in those issues he feels strongly about. I like that.

Yet, he wears his religion like a halo. He would do better if he dropped public affirmations of his religion.

You mean as an American he shouldn't have the free exercise of his religion?
or as a religious person he should abridge his freedom of speech?

I'm referring to the message Christ gave us about those who pray in public:

New Living Translation
"When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get."

And my message to Rick Perry a few years ago: No head of state should also be the head of a religious gathering.

You will notice that Cruz is not winning the evangelicals.

Albert Mohler had a discussion about what an evangelical is today on his podcast. You should listen to it.

He sounds like a preacher too. And those big old droopy eyebrows get on my nerves. Makes him look like a whiner.

But, I would say and have, that in a general election, when more are paying attention to him versus Clinton, I think he could turn it around on her and actually win, despite what current poles claim.

Juxtaposed, him versus her, if people are paying attention even a little bit, I think he takes her.

But then again, the rule of "freebies" might have more of an impact on voters than I can imagine.

No, you should listen to his podcast:

http://www.albertmohler.com/2016/02/29/the-briefing-02-29-16/

The media throws around a word that they don't understand the meaning and the people who might call themselves evangelicals don't understand the meaning.

It is like when someone asks whether you go to church, if you tell them, you don't bother to say which denomination, one just says: "yes".

I'd like to predict that Mrs. Clinton will be in jail. (She was instrumental in putting me in jail.) But it will depend on what Americans want.

Because they reject his faith?..................or that they know that he is not a Natural-Born-Citizen and has no right to seek the presidency.

For your information, Cruz is not even an American citizen. Both of his parents were Canadian citizens when he was born in Canada and neither of them could confer American citizenship onto their son. there was no dual citizenship in 1970 and so if Ted ever wanted to become an American citizen he had to go the naturalization route, Where are his naturalization papers?...You are right that Cruz is as solid as a rock. When he is for something one day, he will be against it the next day, depending on the audience...He speaks like a conservative but has a long liberal record...He is for traditional marriages but signs a petition favoring gay marriages, He is for America but wants to tear down the borders and create a nation of North America the next day...He claims he is a born-again Christian but lives a life of a unredeemed sinner (Matthew 7:20)...The list could go on and on for many pages but I have to go to work.

Perhaps it would be better if you knew what you were talking about, 77, before you talked. Ted Cruz's mother was an American citizen, born in [Wilmington, Delaware] America and Cruz's father was a naturalize American citizen in 2005, from Cuba; both had WORKED in Canada, where they met. Because, at the time Ted Cruz was born in Canada, automatically Ted was a Canadian citizen with "dual" citizenship because of his mother's American status. Ted renounced his Canadian citizenship in May, 2014. As many Democrats in America did with conservatives, Cruz's father was repulsed by Batista and believed the liberal progressive communist "hope and change" dribble of Castro; but Ted never went for the "BHB" "Hope and Change" communist crap in America. Thank God.

Well I will say CRUZ has the elite Republicans in a turmoil plus those Washington Bureaucratic hands out bunch. Our whole political system is in a PROBLEM UNSOLVED SYSTEM because they will not follow "THE CONSTITUTION" as written. Its LIFE, LIBERTY, PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

I meant to imply that perhaps evangelicals are not misled by his public "messages" to God.
