I'm neither for it nor agin' it. I'll just post occasional comments.

What I like about Marco is that he is able to ferret out the truth (or lack thereof) of certain "facts" and then use his considerable capacity to reason to either change his policy or stick with it.

And, Senator, you certainly showed your mettle in the last debates!!

Thank you. Rubio is perhaps the smartest and most informed of the remaining Republican candidates, although Cruz would be close, and he totally gets a bad rap from conservatives. I think he deserves a little credit for totally winning the day in that last debate.

LAPhil-Rubio is smart and articulate. He has many facts concerning government at his fingertips because it is his full time job. I would certainly prefer him over any democrat but his experience is limited to government. Anyone with a modicum of common sense can become a politician, but it takes a special person to become a successful businessman/woman. We need someone who can revive the economy because without economic strength all other agenda items are moot. Why send someone to DC to clean up a mess they helped create ?? I think the petty bickering is childish and plays into the hands of the democrats. There are enough serious issues to talk about without having to resort to school boy antics. Good Luck America !!!

Rubio, like Trump, appears to have had a Paul-on-the-road-to-Damascus epiphany vis-a-vis illegal immigration. I do not trust Rubio for a second on Immigration and border security, and I only trust Trump a little more.
Whenever you consider a candidate, you'd better let one fact burn in; the next president will appoint one or two Supreme Court judges, and if the majority turns Liberal, there will be, in effect, be no more southern border and no more Second Amendment, and what is left of US sovereignty is is serious trouble. A Liberal Justice on the Court will be a disaster that will take years to undo, if it can be undone.
That is why I voted for Ted Cruz. I think he will appoint Conservative Constitutional Originalists to the Supreme and Appellate courts.

Sounds like our new Senator. Sort of. He voted to fund amnesty, but blocked the confirmation of a pro-wetback judge.

A pandering poser. Even his Republican colleagues can't name a single minor, beneficial accomplishment of his since he's been in the Senate. Another crass opportunist with stars (or should I say dollar-signs) in his eyes, beholden to his deep-pocketed donors, not unlike a younger Obama.

I voted for him to be a Senator for Florida and the dipshit has done nothing for our State and never will. He is strictly a man out to better himself and no one else. he has not done a good job in the senate and will not do a good job as President. You can take this to the bank and earn interest on youur money.

Marco Rubio is not a Natural-Born-Citizen as required by the Constitution of the United States.

I think you'd get an argument about that from either of the resident experts on this thread:
http://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-65403-3.html

From Loki's post on page 3:

"Actually, the point was these people who claim that Congress cannot make a law conferring Natural Born Status on someone ignore this Act, and the Acts of 1790, 1795, 1805, 1840, on up through 1986. Anyone who adheres to the doctrine that natural born ONLY means birth in the US to 2 citizen parents ignores this, and invalidates the presidencies of Andy Jackson, James Buchanan, Chester Arthur, and Obooboo. They ignore the FACT that both JohnMcCain and George Romney were made natural born citizens by Acts of Congress."

All this deals with the naturalization of citizens.

Congress can make a naturalized citizen, but it cannot make a Natural-Born-Citizen.

Where do you find it written that there is any difference between a citizen at birth and a natural born citizen?
