First and foremost I'm a political activist,I've studied Holistic Health extensively and I respond to pragmatic views.Im very concerned about our civility, and plane respect has gone out the window, and every Holy book including the Bible tells us that this will be happening before the end of our age.My topic is "where are we Headed".

in the bible, it repeats over and over again how mankind has been humbled by 'the unseen' for straying from its teachings. if you read between the lines, its teachings are very basic...simple morals and values. now to me, that doesn't sound like a tall order but to new-age (been goin` on since the 60's) liberals who seem to have all the answers (minus religion...except islam) seem to be putting sanity into our 'straying' by insisting that it is natural. and i do think that you are right...where are we headed? only god knows. but i will say this...the good will outweigh the evil but it won't be easy.

We are headed toward the end. All these things must come to pass, then the end will come. Keep reading that bible, and more truth will be revealed to you. Good luck.

I know that the end is near. God has a plan for all of us. But we are given a free will to follow that plan, or go our own way. What we choose is up to us. I plan to follow God's plan for me as closely as I can. Then I will know where I stand no matter what happens.

Hi, just an ole Nam Vet. The global problem isn't rooted in politics or financial crisis but rather a spin off of the main problem. I will define the main problem as simply
"global population relative to the resources to sustain it has reached critical mass". 911 in my suspicion was a kick off of the coming response to "main problem". The end it will serve provides the cover for the next crisis designed to adess the "main problem". Yes, I suspect the "depopulation" of 3 billion people will be launched as a terrorist attack via a plaque. People suspect something major on the horizon but unfortunately they are procuring guns instead of the things required to survive.

Well from where I sit it appears the next step will be Martial Law now that Oboma made it a crime to picket around national lands, Memorials and the Whitehouse. Maybe D.C. will be in history books as the "Next Boston Massacre".
Watching news showing DC police used to remove demonstrators from front of Whitehouse. This reminds me of what the British did in Boston. If this isn't an abuse of our right to Free Speach then what is? Charlie

Ok and thanks everybody, very interesting comments.but here is the new question for 2014.What if you new for sure that the Bible and any other holy books were the writings of un-enspired men.trying to explain God,how would that change your life.

We need civility in discourse. Both conservatives and liberals have some valid points State your argument ,but keep hatred out.
