The schools are open. The mail came today. The police and fire trucks are still on the road. The military is still defending us. The CIA, FBI, NSA and DHS are still vigilant to keep us safe. So, what exactly are we missing? Nothing!
This is great! Think of how much money we are saving right now by not paying non essential government employees for simply showing up to an office to suck off of the government tit. Imagine if we stopped paying the bills to keep those offices open and made the cuts deeper, such as stop paying lawmakers and their staff. We could really be on to something here.
We need to demand from our lawmakers to make the shutdown permanent.

And we did not have to pay 800,000 nonessential bureaucrats..Now if we could just get rid of about 100 more, all would be well in America again.

I find it interesting that the people on the Hill who do the real work are the ones not being paid or at work while the 535 who have little value continue to be paid.

It would not be the first time nor will it be the last.
Who would take away our free speech rights, religious rights, gun rights, forfeit our property, spy on us, take away our right to silence, torture us, extrajudicuallly assassinate us, use our taxes to pay for illegal immigrants, debt, wars, curfews, run checkpoints, put us on no fly lists, pay for private prisons, enact mandatory minimums, enact 3 strikes laws, keep DNA databases, enact CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, FBAR, FATCA laws, grope us, run secret FISA courts, and run Jade Helm without the government?
