A Little Help Here.

The Salvation Army which does so much good for so many people, needs some help.Someone stole thousands of dollars worth of Christmas presents earmarked for needy kids. Next time you see one of them outside Walmart or something, give a little. They need to make it up. Unlike most large charities, the SA practices what they preach. The CEOs of most "charitable organizations" make more in a week than the head of the SA does in a year. They are probably the most efficient of all the charities when it comes to donations actually reaching the needy.

I spend at least $70 a month in their stores, I find brand new shirts for 2 to 5 dollars. I bought a new pair of pants for 5 bucks, love those guys.

Our local toys for kids drive had all their toys stolen two years ago, and we managed to get donations from individuals and stores to cover all the kids. There is something really evil about the slime that would do that type of thing. Since we won't be going near a store that has a Salvation Army kettle, we will just include a monetary donation when we drop off more coats and other things at the Salvation Army next week.

They never miss a Holiday meal either and serve thousands of people..THeir rehab facilities are amazing and they offer jobs to those attending so they can learn self worth and have income for later when released...

Loki~~I haven't heard a word of this in Media coverage, but will add a little more..They need to have a Nation wide food and toy drive right now...Other than what they are are already doing I mean.....
