Spot on, California is what modern America is all about. The right is trying desperately to drag this country back to the Dark Ages teaching Creationism. When the LA Gov. Bobby Jindal started having Creationism taught in the schools scientist left the state and students who want to become scientist will have to move to another state to study.

We cannot let our guards down, we need to fight to keep America modernized and my guess is that very few from the right will be reading this article.

The only thing the right can focus on at one time is a woman's uterus, forget the economy, education, jobs, infrastructure, livable wages, and healthcare for those who cannot afford it.

One thing for sure is they have provided cartoonist with more ideas and nightime comedians with more fodder. Great going GOP, just keep us laughing.

Spot on! That is the only job the tea baggers are good at creating-cartoonists

The cartoons are very funny, but what is happening to women in reality is not very funny. Do you know that more SC women are murdered by their spouses or boyfriends than any other state in the Union? The state's rate of 2.54 women killed per 100,000 people in 2011 is more than twice the national average.

SC Gov. Nikki Haley, is a woman who says that "abused and raped women are a distraction" and has done nothing to prevent the violence against women in her state. If people are dying and you do nothing to help prevent it that is murder.

If a woman is being abused in PA and calls 911 she can be evicted from her home. These extremist governors treat women like gum on the bottom of their shoes, and they should be held accountable for their actions.

That really sucks-and so does Nikki Haley. I saw her on the Cobert show where she talked about the SC economy turning around, and when asked if Obama had anything to do with that she said No, it was just her.

I agree about Gov. Haley. Yes, the right has a habit of grabbing hold of Obama's coat tails when they think it will benefit them. When Obama introduced the stimulus in 2010 or 2011 all of the Republicans voted against it. But, when jobs were created in their districts they showed up at ribbon cuttings holding the big cardboard checks taking credit for the jobs.

Obamacare will create about 170,000 jobs and when 1,000 of those jobs were created in Florida Gov. Scott took credit for those. This after he has done everything in his power to prevent the navigators from setting up shop to help sign people up for OC. Unflippingbelievable.

From what I understand, Gov. Haley is the most hated governor in the nation by her constitutents, but she is a Tea Party darling. I guess the worst you treat people the more the TP will love you.

Lived there 25 years. Would be there still, but Dad got sick and I had to move back to Midwest. That reminds me of all the folks who have never been out of the US, but know this is the best country on earth and Obama was trying to turn us into Europe, a horrible fate for people who had never been there
