I’m fairly new to this forum but please bear with me as I feel obliged to get this out to as many people as possible. I’ve spent several months in research trying to make sense of events of the last few years and what is to come. To make a long story short, this research has led me to believe that something VERY BIG – the biggest event in your lifetime -- may happen within the next few weeks. Please note that I say MAY. Based on this belief, I feel that it is imperative that if you have not already done so, to PLEASE start or continue your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accept/reiterate by faith that he is your savior. For those of you that may not have done this and have a sincere desire to accept and know Jesus, please follow the simple steps below. If I am wrong, you have lost nothing but gained everything. Shalom!

Five simple steps:

1. Admit you are a sinner – Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
2. Understand that as a sinner, you will die – Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
3. Believe that Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead to save you from sin and death – Romans 10:9-11; 13 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”…13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
4. Receive, in faith through Jesus, his free gift of salvation – Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
5. Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Jesus.

God is not going to save us from our fate. We make our messes & it we who have to clean them up.

I ask God to give me strength & wisdom to do the right thing.
That is all he will do for us. The rest is up to us.

Look at all that has happened in the world.
We are here to make the best of it we can.

Hasn't your research given you any insight on a five step plan?

The accepted five step plan I know of deals with psychological stages of grief; Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance.

Then you for one must admit that the answers to the problems we have are to be solved by us.

I believe that a person's religion or relationship with whatever God, or creator, Buddha, supreme architect of the universe, or saviour, or whatever entity he believes in is, or should be a private and personal relationship.

It is not something to be forced on, preached to, bragged about, pushed at, or flouted at other people.

It is so private that you must walk that last mile by yourself, nobody else can walk it for you or with you.

And I believe that people who wear religion on a sleeve, preach it, or otherwise throw it in the face of others are doing a disservice to themselves and others.

Agreed. Proselytizing (by anyone) is simply annoying.
