I performed in nightclubs. I don't visit them unless I wish to see a particular performer. I don't care to gamble. I visited the casino in Hobbs, NM. It's horrible - just loads of machines. I did prefer the places that had living dealers. Never did care for amusements parks. I prefer cycling on my tricycle for fun but I really don't care for shopping. Mostly, I appreciate meeting people and teaching them dancing and crafts.

Although you say you are not restricted by your god, you do restrict yourself because you've always got the fear of the "hereafter" hanging over you. I am free because I know no one's watching me all the time.

Please don't try to slap me across the face for believing the way I do. Your attitude toward a few of us, has hit a spark that cause us to get our hacks up. You have the right to try and cut us down, but you are going to lose. But for our Attorney General threatening my 1st amendments rights as a Citizen of this country, just make me think we are in Sweden or Germany where that Freedom doesn't exist. Believe me Alicia, you are being watched, like the rest of us on OPP.

There is nothing hanging over me or any other Christian. All good things come from God for us to enjoy. It's that little voice in your head that says it's okay to do what you want to no matter who it hurts, Even if it hurts yourself. Go ahead and just do it. There are consequences for our actions. If you smoke cigarettes your chances of getting cancer is greater if you didn't. If you drink liquor in excess you may become an alcoholic. If you have numerous sex partners you just might contract a STD. So, while someone is having all this fun there is a price they have to pay. It's God's way of teaching you to take better care of the body He has given us. It's all written down in His word for us to apply to our lives.

The point is, you see the world as one big playground where there are no restrictions. Christians on the other hand see the evil of this world at enmity with God.

You guys have your "hacks" up almost all of the time. I would suggest you do a little research on the countries you named. I do have some expat friends living in Europe and they would not return to this country because they find it quite backward and uncivilized due to the thinking of its people as well as its Congress. I think you ought to check into the freedoms those countries do have. At least they don't have to be concerned about bankruptcy because of an illness. My friend, Estelle tells me that she can get an aspirin as well as a heart bypass with no cost to her. Homosexuality is accepted also. Now, if you want to make a comparison, you could have chosen Russia where much information was exposed globally during the last olympics competition.

My friend, Estelle, although American has been presented an award for writing a book on a particular form of flamenco cante. She also visits the US to attend flamenco festivals such as in NYC and Albuquerque for which she's hired to do the bios on the performers. You can rest assured that she's doing rather well on her own and is honored by her peers. I don't know any deadbeats.

I really get a charge at how you Righties assume things about which you have no knowledge. But, after all, that is a Republican disease.
