The reaction of the President that the frequency of mass shooting are increasing in America may be true. Before we have a "knee-jerk" reaction. we need to ask some questions. How many of these shooters purchased these guns legally at gun shops or gun shows? How many urban gun crimes were committed by legal gun owners? For the President to compare the frequency of gun violence in America to other countries is not a valid argument because these comparable countries do not have open borders that allow the free flow of guns, drugs and felons. A partial solution seems to lie with immigration control and border security which both are impeded by the executive branch of the government.

We need to be working on prevention. These ever increasing whack jobs who seek glory through murder are threatening our American tradition of hunting.

I believe that if a study was taken it would reveal that about 98% of the killings are done by those who do not own the guns legally. Most of the legal gun owners go by the rules and regulations and a vast majority of them use them for hunting. Most of the killings are in the inner cities but the media doesn't write much about that because it would take away from the already weak stance the libtards take. There are easily more killings in the cities than there are by the mass shootings but the left does not want to compare those two factions because it will not be for their good. That is the world, or country, we live in now. Vote Donald Trump! At least he speaks what most of think.

Under the present administration it is entirely possible that hunting may become necessary to feed our families

Yea, and if Obama gets his way, you'll be hunting with a pea shooter!

France has strict gun control laws, didn't do anything but make them targets.
It is interesting people are snapping alot lately.
I wonder if that speaks more to the overall state of the country.:hunf:

Why would legal gun owners be worried about gun laws that restrict access by felons and those with mental problems. Also transfers and gifting of weapons should be restricted.

Because the way the laws will be crafted by you liberals. Data bases will be compiled of all gun owners, so when the real liberal gun confiscation laws go into effect (providing the idiot low information entitlement greedy voters keep electing liberals), they will know where all the guns are, and who has them. On your last comment, I should be able to transfer/gift a weapon to whom I want, providing I follow the current law(s).

We already have background checks. If you notice, the vast majority of all these shootings take place in states with strict gun control laws.

These two shooters had legal guns, but did not buy them, themselves. If you comply with background checks, then they already know where you are. The laws should be universal, the same in each state. There is no law that says you can not be stupid with your gun, and not secure it.

Then perhaps you can enlighten us on how and where they did acquire their guns. Also how they obtained the necessary components to build their IED's.

Both you and the shooter now dead and lying in the middle of the road, are prime candidates for restrictions.

I also note that with each post in this thread you manage to think up another restriction which points to your never ending list and you just cannot understand honest peoples looking at you and your kind with a jaundiced eye? Pathetic.

Look at the photo fool....
