Thank you, Sam, for the introduction to a site at which members can debate differences of opinion other than by calling names. I've subscribed and look forward to using my time for intelligent comments rather than arguing with so many on OPP who have nothing to offer besides a large vocabulary of name calling such as DY following this post.

I've been called a snob, haughty, prideful, etc. because I hail from NYC. OPP has been an experience and opportunity to test the pulse of the bias in this country. In NY, I didn't often come across the lack of intelligence along with those with a fear of knowledge and thinking I've experienced here.

I've subscribed and look forward to spending much time on that site. Thanks again.

Creativity of life is such a phenomenal wonder isn't....

Add Northern Lights and you'd have even more support of those things of mystery...........

Interesting site ~~Science can be beautiful no doubt and yet still very mysterious........Good thing as it keeps us interested and asking questions of ~~why........

Good afternoon, Bobby....Yes, they are of the Northern Lights I have had the privilege of seeing......Once while visiting Michigan, not knowing what I was looking at at time and another when visiting Canada..Noooooooooo mistaking Gods perfect wonder of mystery and beauty....

"The bright dancing lights of the aurora are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere. The lights are seen above the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemispheres. They are known as 'Aurora borealis' in the north and 'Aurora australis' in the south."

You will never forget them once seen.... And once known what they really are.......Illumination at its finest, not illusion~~~
