Winter whispers his song
Abandons her naked before the heavens
As souls slumber beneath
And dirt becomes stone


Spring celebrates the tandava
And the newborn feels only the
Heartbeat of the dance
Sings only her love
Of an undiscovered verdant world


Under a moonless night
She remembers the cold
Her song warms the earth
And her dance begins anew
Celebrating the return


But none shall ever sing so purely
As the newborn spring
Forever her dance is tempered
By foreknowledge of Winters return

Winter returns its strength in beauty and light
Trees become baron yet still sing with the whispers of wind

Streets thin as the chill dampens desire for walk
He looks and sees the changes welcoming the new
season that has now arrived.....

Winter brings us warmth from within if only we listen
our soul cries out wanting out until we have seen

Fireplaces flickering the scent of fresh cut wood delights
Embers flashes one side to another
Comfy beds with hand made quilts and pillows await us

We see the purified snow falling
Bells chime,angels sing, people now know
Winter the season of love warms us all for ever more..........
