OK. Here's the deal. Granite is a pretty interesting material. There is no method known to science that will create granite. They have tried to do it in the lab, but have failed.

All theories of how it was formed are just that. Theories. Scientists simply cannot explain how granite was formed.

Then there are the radio-halo's found in granite. These are another thing scientists can't explain. These halo's are formed only in solid rock. Now the element that forms these halo's, PO-218, has a half life of three minutes. That means that 99.99 percent of it will disappear in about half an hour.

Think about that. Scientists claim that the earth took millions of years to cool. That includes granite, BTW. So how can something that takes millions of years to cool have radio-halo's? It would seem that the only way these halo's could form is if granite was created in a very short period of time. Like how it happened in the Book of Genesis.

I have looked, and there is not a single peer reviewed paper that can explain this apparent contradiction. Feel free to post one, if you can find it.

Truthfully, I don't really understand what you've said. It's me, not you. I've taken college courses in geology and geomorphology but that was so long ago. I had a great uncle who was Dean of the Colorado School of Mines but he was somewhat of a rascal; went through several fortunes in his lifetime. He was run out of Mexico in his late 60's for getting a young girl in trouble. But all this extraneous material aside, I know the answer to your question. "In the beginning God...."

While I am not holding out the Book of Genesis as the total story of the beginning of things, I would point out that the science that Atheists worship is mostly based on mathematics. That same mathematics says that the probability of life just "happening" by accident, and evolution "just happening" at random is about the same as a all the hundreds of thousands of completely disassembled 747 components being caught up in a tornado and by chance, coming out a finished, viable flying jet, complete with full tanks of av-gas, which also "just happened." Not just once, either.
The math that is the basis of science says it is statistically impossible.

There are many parts of our world and universe that science has yet to explain, none of them prove the existance of a God, Christian or otherwise. Scientists have discovered hundreds of things that are for all purposes indisputable, that are blatently contrary to the book of Genisis. Religions biggest demand is absolute faith in something that is unlikely and unseeable, you need to ask yourself why?

The "earth" was a gas cloud,,,, chaos,,,,, there wasnt even "light" no UV energy.....

So the "conditions" were different,, during creation....... for example,,, we do know that life cannot be made in the presence of Oxygen,,,, because oxygen is an oxidative chemical,,,, it breaks down,,, it doesnt build up...... yet life requires it to sustain,,

It is clearly delineated,,, in the scripture,,, all this was created,,,, then god made/introduced oxygen...

"Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."


Its actually quite simple,,, we just dont know what the hell God was talking about,,,, we may find out someday,,,,, just not yet...


As we understand more,, it is perfectly conceivable that we will understand,,, this is why we are doing experiments in space, the physical conditions are different than what we currently have on earth,,,,,

until then we can only "believe"

God throws Cain out of the party,,, I mean when you order a Barbeque,,,,, and some d-ckwad brings his tofu and sprout salad,,,,, you just want to throw the bum out,,,,,,

So Cain,,, kills abel,,,,, for Gaining Gods Favor,,,, yet it was Cains liberal streak , that caused him to distort the word,,, and produce an “in your face” offering,,,, and apparently God was in no mood,,,, and dealt him a big dose of reality,,,,

So Cain had to leave Eden,,,,, went to Haight ashbury,,, started doing dope,,,,, and living on welfare,,, and spawned the subhuman primordial slime,,, we know as liberals……….. and hell followed with him

Why is blind faith and rejecting reason so damn important to religion? The story of Cain and Able and their "offerings" are nothing but a fable to support blind faith and the abandonment of reason. Pure faithful heart vs pride and hubris. Again it shows an example of the demand that blind faith is more important than good and reason. There is only one real answer to this question and the personal feer of loosing faith makes you cower from even entertaining the question, which is exactly the goal of such teachings.

For your enjoyment - The expression "Statistically" is a Mathematical tool; and the expression "Mathematically correct" is not just a euphemism for "This will shut you up," it is also incorrect.

If Mathematics is so "correct," why do surveys of land have to be repeated every time a property is sold? Because there is no such standard as "Mathematically correct." There is only an immeasurable closeness to a previous measurement, that is so close to "identical," that
"Mathematical correctness" is assumed.

And because the earth continually shifts, landmarks change location because of it, and morphs into "incorrect Mathematics."

And according to "The law of non-contradiction," a thing or concept cannot both be and not be, in the same frame of reference and circumstance. If anything can be shown to both be and not be at the same time, under the same circumstance and in the same way, then nothing is- i.e., it is all theory, nothing is real. This law is used to prove God is real. It is also used to prove God is not real.

The problem with it is, the only standard that proves both positions, is a Mathematical assertion that changes with every use made of it to disprove the law of non-contradiction.

Thats not true at all,,,, the surveys must be done,,,, as the magnetics of the earths fields change,,,,,, rendering the survey plates "different" than when placed.

Incidentally,,,, with the advent of GPS,,, most compass placed survey plates are wrong.....

But more importantly,,,, the surveys were done because a-sholes MOVE fences,,,,, and if not disputed,,, usually after 7 years,,,, that fenced land becomes yours...

"GPS" is a different category of tool than a land survey with surveyors tools and trecks into wilderness territory; or settling a land dispute between neighbors.

And the surveyors tools themselves have changed so completely that an older surveyor, brought back from retirement, would have difficulty recognizing the function of the new equipment sans an in-depth guidebook with intricate information and limitless illustrations.
