America’s Invasion of Syria. Ground Operations have Commenced

As previously warned about in June of 2015, the United States has announced that it will officially begin ground operations in Syria through the use of special forces. The Washington Post in its article, “Obama seeks to intensify operations in Syria with Special Ops troops,”would report that:

President Obama is sending a small number of Special Operations troops to northern Syria, marking the first full-time deployment of U.S. forces to the chaotic country.

The mission marks a major shift for Obama, whose determination to defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria has been balanced by an abiding worry that U.S. troops not be pulled too deeply into the intractable Syrian conflict.

The latest deployment will involve fewer than 50 Special Operations advisers, who will work with resistance forces battling the Islamic State in northern Syria but will not engage in direct combat, Obama administration officials said.

This might be a good time to rebalance our portfolios and consider the future prospects for companies like General Dynamics and Halliburton. Washington, following up on its on-going war on terror, is again putting forces in place which will guarantee American weapons-makers a bountiful future.

It might also be a good time to thoroughly audit the Department of Defense. To understand the "wartime" objective of the DOD, one just needs to plug in new bad guys from time to time, which is proving an ever-easier venture, since each previous war and conflict seems to offer a remarkably helpful hand in creating new ones. Radical Islam (ISIS) has proven a worthy successor to the soviet union, itself a superb money making venture.

Those of us old enough to remember know that U.S. involvement in Vietnam started with U.S. military advisers being sent in. The fact that the Pentagon is sending in American military advisers to work with the rebels at a time when Russia is bombing Syrian rebels is asking for an incident where Americans are killed by Russian bombing. The Pentagon is just begging for that to happen. They may even go so far as to bomb American troops themselves and blame it on Russia.

Now, 12 years after invading Iraq, the most troubling thing about the current war in the middle east is that no one here in the US knows why the country is still fighting. The commonly stated reason "Defeat ISIS" is neither convincing or self explanatory. Why defeat ISIS? The best Washington can come up with are the same vague threats of terrorism against the homeland that have fueled its disastrous wars since 9/11. Now with Russia back in the game in a big way, we should be wondering: "What could possibly go wrong?"

William Lederer, author of "The Ugly American," wrote a book titled "Nation of Sheep" during the lead-up to the Vietnam war. The same type of lies and propaganda was being fed the American people by a controlled news media at that time. In his book Lederer mapped out solutions to overcoming the news media's control of public opinion. Unfortunately, Lederer's book never made the bestseller list.

Another famous author, Noam Chomsky, reminds us "Everybody's worried about stopping terrorism. Well, there's a really easy way: stop participating in it." Sounds too simple. But maybe we should try it sometime soon.

My respect for Chomsky took a big hit when he said, "Who cares who did it? People get killed all the time." He was referring to JFK's assassination and 9/11.

After Chomsky's long history of advocating Palestinian rights, he is willing to let Muslims be falsely blamed for 9/11.

Chomsky is not that stupid. He knows 9/11 was a false flag operation. He also knows that if the truth gets out that Israel was an accomplice to the real perpetrators, that all Jews will be blamed for the crimes of a small group of Zionists.

This is how Vietnam started. Special Forces advisors (1957) then involvement (1959) and then the farce in the Tonkin Bay which gave "America" the excuse to go in. We lost 57,000+ and probably a million wounded both physically and/or mentality because the F'N politicians couldn't keep their freaking a##es out of it. Let the Generals run the war/police action and keep the media minded a##es out of it.
