Once more, a police officer is disrespected by a clown restaurant employee. In case you are interested, Olive Garden's customer service/complaint toll free number is 1-800-248-4935. See story below.

I don't blame the waitress, she was doing what she felt right to keep other customers "fear free". It's not her fault her mind has been manipulated into seeing a gun as a "negative item", a killing machine that anybody with the common cold will use to kill kill kill. It's gun control and for that matter "people control" enthusiasts that are making The People a bunch of pussies. Look at some world news people, danger is at your doorstep. Give the officer an extra clip with his meal courtesy of the restaurant, and say "Thank you sir!"

Won't go to Olive Garden ever again. Truth be told I go about once a year but going to tell them never again. These stupid employees make me sick. When your getting robbed don't call the police call the union. Fifteen dollars an hour for these kinds of idiots. No way. Thanks for the number.

Waitress is told there is a no gun policy. Not the sharpest tool in the box.

Yeah, she's pretty stupid....she should feel better seeing a uniformed cop coming into the restaurant...although, I don't know why you're giving out the phone number of Olive Garden.....they already apologized...from the president of the company on down....what more would you like them to do ?

My Uncle was a cop in NYC in uniform he could walk into any place for lunch and was not charged for lunch out of respect, this was some years ago and I'm not sure if things have now changed.

Get an earful from large numbers of people to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Fair enough...although, I doubt we'll be hearing about this happening again

Don't bet on it. Dumbass is probably the only thing in the known universe more common than hydrogen.

I almost paid my life for being a cop. Lost my arm on duty. We were never allowed, in fact, we would be fired for taking free stuff. I never wanted free stuff. I think most departments of any integrity don't permit their officers to get free stuff. The California Highway Patrol is the best police organization in the world and is recognized as such. A lot of pressure is applied for perfection. But, one must understand that with 10,000 personnel it is almost impossible to reach 100% perfection. But, an A+ should be awarded for their efforts. i have been on disability since 1970 but I worked every day and paid a hell of lot of taxes. i wore my body out, specifically my one and only arm, and am now not able to work.

There were places back east like dunkin donuts that would not take your money. So you always left a big tip to more than cover the cost.
