Here's my favorite, sing it a lot, told to stop even a lotter.

-Blood, Sweat and Tears - And When I Die lyrics

The horns are unreal and, I don't know if we've posted any of their music and if not, by gosh it's here now!
I've always enjoyed their music and love that song... (show quote)

My oldest son used to dance around the house to 'And When I Die.' He especially loved the circus/carousel sounds near the end. The Doors 'Greatest Hits' album is, IMO, one of the greatest albums ever put out. David Clayton-Thomas was an incredible vocalist. They were truly an eclectic band :!:

I don't recall seeing my favorite Blood, Sweat & Tears song on the thread...am I wrong :?: Their biggest hit...'You've Made Me So Very Happy.' Came home from Viet Nam, and soonafter, went straight to their concert in downtown Houston. Best concert, perhaps, I've ever attended :!:
My wifes' father Basil Dean Clark played with Blood sweat and Tears. He was a horn man very sought after in his day.

Their version of the Billie Holiday classic 'God Bless The Child' is a classic of its own, IMO. Again, David Clayton-Thomas shines. 8-)

The only band that came close to B,S,&T's eclectic sound was, perhaps, Chicago. They certainly had their fair share of hits. Peter Cetera evolved as a solo singer from that group.
