Thought for Columbus Day

Columbus Day is nearly upon us. As I reflect on the voyage of the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria, I can't help but think of the similarities between Columbus and Congress. Perhaps we SHOULD change the name of Columbus Day. To Congress Day.
Consider that both Columbus and Congress
1). Took off with only the vaguest notion of where they were going.
2).Had no idea where the hell they were once they arrived, and
3). Paid for all of it with someone else's money.
