U.S.A. DYSFUNCTIONAL U.S. CONGRESS
With all the problems U.S.A. has with the economy, the cruel inflation, the abuses with the elderly, the unemployment, the stagnant salaries, the Medical industry abuses and overcharges, the big manufacturer companies who moved overseas looking for cheap labor and no U.S. taxes, the problems with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid caused by the unemployment and manufacturers outsource, etc. etc. our U.S. Government, the U.S. Congress and the media are occupied now with the problems in SYRIA and the middle east, to help the Military Industrial Complex, looking for war is a big business in U.S.A. regardless the americans who died.
My name is Gerard A. Sanchez I am living in the U.S.A. since July 04, 1964 (49 years) I born In CUBA and escaped in 1963, with 89 men, women, and children who hijacked a 75 Ft. Cuban Navy tender to go to Mexico, looking for freedom and opportunity. I became U.S. Citizen in 1970. Since 1964 I worked different jobs in California and in 1968 I was hired by the General Telephone Co. (now Verizon) and retired after 21 years of service with dignity thanks F.D.R. Social Security program, Medicare, and C.W.A. organized labor help.

I wouldn't say that Congress is dysfunctional. They function just the way they want, which is having their way. They don't seem to care much for most of us, as they seem to feel that we are just so much doggy dodo under feet. That seems to be okay for many because they don't seem to mind being doggy dodo. Not only being doggy dodo but kissing back sides & liking it. If more of us would speak out & stop being treated like doggy dodo maybe things would get a bit better

as long as the gov't. thinks they own all the money in this country and believe they have the right to take away as much of it as they want the companies will continue to move overseas if they would lower the taxes the companies would stay here and employ Americans which in turn would pay taxes and the gov't would wind up with a lot more this would cure most of the problems you mentioned but in the end the companies are going to go where they can make a profit
If Republicans members of our U.S. Congress have a concern about the U.S. Federal deficit why them don't proposed to cut the salaries of all members of Congress Republicans and Democrats and eliminate their own substantial cost of living increases they approve for themselves every year regardless the C.P.I. applied to Social Security and labor.

What we are seeing here is a bunch of scared old white men trying to hang on to a way of life they don't wish to lose.
I am an old white man but I know that to survive It would better serve me to get along with as many types of people as I can.

Do you prefer a bankrupt U.S. Government and lower the taxes for speculators and greedy corporations.

We have the U.S. Congress we deserve paid by the special interest for their own benefit not the benefit of the majority american who struggle to survive.
