Then why are the ambassador and his people dead? Even before the attack, Ambassador Stevens issued repeated requests to the state department to beef up security at the consulate. All such requests were ignored. And, during the attack, they were screaming for help, and their calls for help were heard all the way to the WH. Not only did Obama and Hillary do nothing, they ordered military commanders who were ready, willing, and able to counterattack to stand down. Some good men died because a pair of thug demagogues who could have helped them, did nothing.

I learned recently, since I was baby at the time, that Joe lost his wife after he won his first campaign. It really changed my opinion of him after I read about his choice to stay the course.
