Archie, You have no idea who I am. To call me a loser fits right in with your know nothing, but have an opinion based on prejudice.

I didnt point you out personally as a loser. However my opinion is based on fact not prejudice. I know people who work the system because its easier than getting a job. Do some paperwork or go to work. And i dont want to hear about no jobs because i have a son who works full time and finds more random jobs than you can imagine. there is work if a person isnt too proud to do it. It has become easier to suck off the government tit than find some work that pays something. I apologize if ive offended you; but facts are facts. Folks keep trying to tweak, distort, and change them; but they are still facts. It just puzzles me why some people dont get it.
I don`t disagree with your comment about "working the system". My point is that people of all colors do it, not just black people.

GENOA please use the quote reply tag at the bottom of the quote that you are replying to so that the rest of us know to who and what you're quote is responding to.
I was pretty embarrassed when Nixon got tied up because I voted for him but this clown is something else.

Bahmer, Thanks for the tip. I was responding to Archie Bunker.
Don't want to be offensive, but I can't help noting that OldSchool shows little evidence of schooling. To have been be schooled would include this: to have the desire to continue learning, to follow the national news (from several sources, if necessary), and both to remember the past and use the past in order to understand the present and perhaps anticipate the future. Old School has beliefs, and that is certainly legal, constitutional; but beliefs are frequently willful ignorance.
Nixon broke the law by protecting criminals. He went unpunished, althought the people didn't. BushII and Cheney broke the law, lying to Congress, searching without warrants, and torturing people of questionable "guilt."
Reagan associates lied to Congress, as did members of the Bush I administration. Reagan approved construction of the First Big Republican Deficit, later paid down during the Clinton administration. Bush II and Republcian congresspersons gladly constructed The Second Big Republican deficit, primarily with large tax cuts for the very wealthy, two wars on the credit card, and large contracts for corporations in military zones without any oversight.
They also continued the policy of corpoate deregulation, which led to the destructive recession. This second deficit is the one they want to blame on B. Obama and the millions of Americans "down below" the corporate-bought Republicans - paying it down by withdrawing from fifty percent of Americans, at least, social security, Medicare and Medicaid, safety net programs, and, for all practical purposes, freedom and opportunity.
It shouldn't take a lot of heavy schooling to know the policies of the party one supports so religiously.

YOU'RE PATHETIC!!
Obviously, you wouldn't know a good president when you see one. There's no excuse for such density!

I'm glad you brought up Pres. Nixon--actually, he was a very good president. Watergate was a totally media created story. Compared to Benghazi--it was NOTHING!!
When you compare presidents, you should do it on the basis of "Did they do what they did for the good of the country" or did they do it to ruin the country--like barry is doing. Puts things in perspective.

Before The election?
I got it.
YOU got it. I think a majority of Americans got it, but when you vote for Romney, and the machine scores it for barry, it's a lost cause. And the fact that that's OK with some Americans is pretty sad. The "D" wins over everything else.

The last good republican president was Dwight Eisenhower. And the current crop of republicans hate him and his policies, which were good for America.
Eisenhower was at best an OK president. He never wanted the job in the first place. Where DO you libs get your information? I don't know ONE Republican who hates him or his policies. Another "fact" made up of whole cloth!

It was the complicit media that was instrumental in getting obummer elected, and then re-elected.
I agree it was nothing compare to today but this is a different world. In Nixon's time a president could not hid as well and surely over the years both sides have damaged that, honestly. First visit to China will be forgotten because of Watergate.
