About 25 years ago, I was walking into a Safeway in California, and this clown, maybe 2 year older than me, was bumming for change claiming to be special forces. Wasn't in any kind of uniform, smelled of vodka and claimed to be a Vietnam vet. Nah, I said, I'll keep my money.
