TWO QUESTIONS

WARRIOR

1. How is it that certain individuals i.e. Obama, McCain, can have information about themselves sealed for life. They serve " We the people " we have a right to know about who we really have in office.

2. As recently stated again " The Supreme Court does not make laws. it only offer an opinion " If that is the case why are Americans accepting " their opinion " on Same-sex marriage as a law. It is NOT!!
There again why are county clerks being forced to hand out marriage licences to same sex couples?

For three very good reasons:
1. Ignorance is bliss. That is, they are ignorant of our so-called check & balance system of democracy: the legislative branch (the law making body), the judicial branch (the body authorized to carryout the already established laws), and the executive branch (those mandated to enforce the laws of the land).
2. It is far easier to have others do one's thinking for them than for one to think on their own. That is, it is far easier to accept someone else's homework then to do your own homework.
3. We are a people of "itching ears" who prefer to have our ears "tickled" with entitlement than to listen to the truth. That is, we are a people whose political party and its favorite "sons" are all that matters and the truth be damned. And to many, their political party and its favorite "sons" are their truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth and anyone who says differently is to again be damned.

WARRIOR, The US Supreme Court has the power of judicial review. That means that it can review any state, local of federal law, and if it finds that the law being reviewed is unconstitutional, it becomes null and void. It is an awesome power, but it is balanced by the executive branch being able to appoint justices to the court, congress must approve the Presidents appointment and the process for adding a constitutional amendments. Sometimes I agree with the courts decision, and sometimes I don't, but I except it because it seems to be the best solution for deciding a laws constitutionality.

When you have so much bad shit to hide, it becomes embarrassing, and the natural tendency is to hide it. Plus if citizens knew what they were hiding, they would probably lynch them as they deserve.
