For thousands upon thousands of years, world peace has been SENSIBLY avoided by that calm and resonable voice that cautions, "Let's be practical."

War is not and never should be an option. Such a choice falls into delusion or insane.

Once more, it has not been proven that Assad was the one who used the gas. Once more, he has a lot to lose and very little to gain by doing so. Once more, the extremist backed rebels have far more to gain by setting up Assad as a fall guy. Lastly, we should stay the hell out of Syria, period.

You are so righttttttttttttttttt Dude had it not been for WWII you would only be allowed to speak German and Japanese <<< note sarcasm

Would you really want to have Japan and the Nazis who were the most brutal empires ever to be in power to have complete power ?

They could have kept the world population under control by exterminating anyone that didn't do their bidding or suit their world views and the toll of human suffering would only increase!

Being a Vietnam Vet I've always said we should never / never / never go to war unless we are determined to win

So sonny boy if you can't stand to fight for freedom and liberty I sujest you pack up and move to North Korea !

I will say we should stay out of this Syria due to the incompetence of our current administration who has been and still is clueless

I think we should stay out because there is no redeeming reason to get involved

These folks have been fighting since the dawn of time, I say let them fight, eventually they will kill each other off. We need to stay out of this mess.

to all who have posted, I want you to know I am no isolationist but in Syria's case we have nothing to gain by getting involved all we would gain is another mess to try and fix and I see little hope of that

We cannot afford another war.our country is at a financial crisis because of the tax cuts Bush gave while we went into war. How did he think that was supposed to be paid for? We can't do it again it will bankrupt us and be our demise like so many other countries who have fallen by the same means.

I agree we can't afford it , and we would gain nothing , both sides in the conflict hate us so why bother and we need to concentrate on our own country and fix what is wrong here , that is truly in our best interest
