Hamas and Israel to sign long term truce

Hamas and Israel are about to sign a long term cease fire. This truce will obligate Israel to lift the blockade of Gaza's borders which will now be inspected by NATO. In return Hamas agrees to stop all military/terrorist attacks against Israel. The Israelis would like the agreement to return of all Israelis held prisoner in Gaza and the bodies of Israeli soldiers killed in the last conflict.
Is this the start of real peace, or just a false hope?

How many truces would that be now, a dozen? 15 minutes after every other truce - rockets red glares were seen across Israel. Israel has learned to use really large salt grains, when dealing with Hamas.

There will not be peace until the treaty implemented by The Antichrist. This peace will last 3 and a half years, at which time the Antichrist will enter the Jewish Temple and declare Himself God. Since the temple hasn't been rebuilt yet, I can safely say that this treaty will not last.

Anyone who really understands Islam thoroughly realizes that there is absolutely no possibility of a lasting peace between the Jews and Islam. What you do Not want to see, I mean what you do NOT want to see is the peace agreement for a time period of 7 years, along with cries of peace and security; for when that happens that will be the indicator that the seven-years of tribulations, leading to Armageddon. So far, biblical prophecy has been fulfilled up to this point and will continue to do so. Three and a half years after such an agreement is made it will be broken by the Muslims and all hell will break loose. It will be quite bad enough in those first three and a half years of tribulation. I think it is totally likely that whatever happens in September will soon lead to the beginning of the tribulations.

Steve700,Not being Christian, I am not a big fan of New Testament interpretation of prophecy. I do believe that G-d wants us to love our neighbor and seek peace. That is all we can do. I have no love for the Muslim jihadists. I believe that many are murderers and psychopaths, the rest are intolerant fanatics.
I suppose we will have to wait and see.
One difference with this agreement is Hamas will have the Israeli blockade lifted which the people in Gaza desperately need. If this works out, and no arms are sneaked into Gaza and NATO does it's job, it may be a turning point. All we can do is pray!

"If NATO does it's job?" BWAHAHAHAHA! You should take a look at their track record. One failure after another.

Sad. But you gotta laugh at it. Otherwise, you'll go insane.
