White House staffer Barvetta Singletary is accused of threatening her Capitol Police Officer boyfriend with his own gun amid cheating allegations.

White House staffer Barvetta Singletary is accused of threatening her Capitol Police Officer boyfriend with his own gun amid cheating allegations.
An aide to President Obama lured her cop boyfriend home with a promise of sex before grabbing his gun and threatening him for sleeping around, police said.
Jealous White House staffer Barvetta Singletary, 37, allegedly fired off the U.S. Capitol Police Officer's duty weapon early Friday morning when he refused to give her access to his cell phones, NBC Washington reported.
That potential life-or-death demand came after Singletary invited the man over to her Upper Marlboro, Md., home for sex, cops said.
Once they were finished around 5:30 a.m., she asked him about the other women he was dating, police said.
That loaded question led to an argument and Singletary allegedly snatching two cell phones from a bag, along with his .40 caliber Glock 23 weapon.
ONE TIME USE ONLY.

The 37-year-old was arrested on charges of first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
When the officer refused to tell her the phones' passwords she allegedly pointed the firearm at him and said, "You taught me how to use this. Don't think I won't use it."
Singletary then fired one round into the floor, sending the officer running, according to police.
The White House staffer was arrested at the scene and charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
A request for comment from Capitol Police on the incident was not immediately returned.
Singletary is seen with South Carolina Congressman James Clyburn in 2011. She was named Special Assistant to the President and House Legislative Liaison last summer.
A White House spokesperson, reached by NBC, said that Singletary has been placed on unpaid leave and her access to the White House complex has been revoked pending an investigation.
