Is the economy improving? Or does the political party out of office see the perception of the economy as a tool.

The economy is now a tool and the filibuster a weapon, The economy of the wealthy is better than ever, No so for the rest of the American people.

The economy is NOT getting better. The fraud-in-chief who claims to be for the middle class is a complete lie. Wall Street is better because of all the QE's. Main street is far worse. Housing is collapsing again. Unemployment is still too high. The 40 hour work week is evaporating because of the ACA. The unions want everything unionized which will drive up prices. Disability claims are at an all time high. Food stamps are at an all time high. The taxpayer is getting hit from all sides. Big business is in bed with this corrupt government. This administration is in bed with K Street. Which if I may remind you he swore would not happen. Google who loves bho is spying on us. So I ask you when will the idiots for voted for this take a stand? I guess I can answer my own question NEVER.

I have heard on the radio and again I don't have any proof but with a lot of people being put on part time and losing their insurance and all. The result was that the average medium income was going down faster under the recovery than it did under the recession. Since I am no longer in the work force I am hearing about this from my neighbors that live all around me.

Obama gas $3.95 a gal. Obama's policies are killing the economy. The first MIA president in history. A juvenile. Coward, liar, thief, soaking the tax paters for 100s of million for theit multi vacations. He picks cronies for official posts that aren't qualified; like that very left winged lady embassidor to the UN who was on vacation in Iceland 19 days after getting the job.

You are 100%right. The fraud-in-chief should be aware to all but the brain dead. The fact that the march on DC Saturday disgraced MLK and Disgraced the country's flag should be apparent, sadly it is NOT. Everything is crashing down around us and the most disgusting fact is the msm continues to lie to the public. If people don't take the time to know what is happening they DESERVE what they get.

I told that to a long pony tailed old guy the other day as I was filling up at the gas station I said I could remember when I could fill up for under $30 instead of now which is close to$60. He said oh that was when you were a youngster and I said no that was right before OIllegal took office and he refused to believe it as he continued to try and blame the high price of gas on Bush because he was a big oil guy. So even today everything is still Bush's fault, will they ever accept responsibility for anything?

The media is slanted to one side or the other, it always was, Certain facts like the stock market over time vs gdp or unemployment numbers can present a clear picture of current events without bias. You can look at other counties gains and losses vs ours also and review the facts. One must look closely at current events and changes in the laws like citizens united, gerrymandering, voter suppression, use of the filibuster and try to see to whose advantage they favor and why. The main stream media thrives on sensationalism and controversy, If we formed our opinions from facts not trash we have a chance to resolve the problems we are facing. The truth is hard, use your god given abilities of thought and reason, don't just regurgitate the trash.

No, its the opposite. When Obama went in gas was 1.85 gal. Today it floats back and forth from around 3.50 to 4.00 per gal. Food has triple in price almost, Canned food decrease in size, so has candy bars, some are even giving you less in packages. Insurance has increased. Electric prices has increase. States, cities and counties have increase their service charges. Where will it end. Maybe, when we get republicans in office, in the house, senate and white house.

Your correct about the media. However since bho their bias has become so obvious. They have I believe because he is black gone way over board. They have become Pravda. The one thing I do NOT agree with is Citizens United. The Dems. have all the union backing why shouldn't Republicans have backers also. Sadly this is an administration that thinks they can re-write law. This country was always based on the rule of law. There are many many things wrong but to lie to people and divide a country is truly a disservice to the country.

And what does this have to do with the price of tea in China? The labor unions are unanimously in favor of the democrat side as well as a lot of big corporate america. Not all or for that mater a very small amount of Corporate America is conservative, most of corporate America has lobiers and they will support whoever they feel will be on their side and award them with the biggest contracts and they will make donations in their best interest. Unlike individuals who usually vote out of conviction for one side or the other corporations tend to be very fickle.

Agreed, labor unions are more democratic, labor = people. the large corps like take Wal Mart for example, worlds largest Corp, employs over 2 million people, has a profit in the 450 billion dollar range give or take, In America a huge portion of wal marts work force is on food stamps and can not kick into the health insurance plan because they can't afford to and can't come up with the 1000 dollar deductible per person. This was way before the ACA came about. The Wal mart Corp due to citizens united could buy any politician or seat anyone in politics it wants to, make its own rules to benefit Wal mart corp, not its employees or America for that fact. To my knowledge there is no labor union for wal mart employees and if they did they don't have the funds to compete. Corporations are not people. Wal Mart is good for the waltons, the shareholders and china, profits over people and country, I don't shop there and have not for over 10 years. there are many large Corporations besides Wal mart that follow this model, pay little taxes and want to do away with Government regulation , They tend to lean far right in politics any have insane amounts of capital.
