One million Muslims are planning to march on Washington D.C. on 9/11. Two million bikers are planning on roaring into Washington D.C. on 9/11. Am I the only one who sees this as a potential problem? Both groups have the legal right to assemble peacefully...peacefully being the operative word. You could not find two more diverse groups if you tried. Let's just really throw a rally riot and have the KKK and a couple of gangs from East L.A. show up.
I realize I am being irreverent, but I find the idea of these 'marches' taking place on 9/11 to be beyond disrespectful to the loved one's who suffered and still grieve for the victims of 9/11. If you want to march, fine, just show a little respect and choose a different day.

One million Muslims are planning to march on Washi... (show quote)

Sadly that is not their purpose. Their purpose is to claim they have been persecuted as Muslims. I will tell you they have NOT. They have their mosques. They have our government bending over backwards. They have the weak kneed leadership of the military doing everything to change the language in all manuals. Our brave TROOPS are being led by cowards. Then we have the brotherhood who reside in the west wing. I would not be surprised if this is being engineered by some in the west wing. It seems to me the fraud-in-chief welcomes this. The bikers are being very brave to take them on.

Don't find anything about this happening. But I think it is a very good idea. Two million bikers you say? That should fill up D.C. and the roar of those bikes could make prayer difficult. Hope to see this on Fox News as a happening. Love that idea.

This is akin to the KKK marching on MLK Day. Many Muslims are quick to perceive a slight where none exists. This is an egregious attempt to create another pothole in a road already rife with them.

This march by Muslims is a grave mistake and one I can't help think has been planned to be "unpeaceful." What would better turn those Muslims who are not in agreement with the Jihadists into supporters than being attacked by their fellow citizens. And it is understandable these attacks will happen given the deep wound we still carry from that day and this march looking more like a parade of triumph over the "infidels." I can only see the terrorists getting a big boost from this egregious insensitivity by the Islamic community. No, let me call it what it is: criminally stupid.

What? Is this really you talking hemorrhoid?
You're starting to sound like someone with common sense. Maybe if you hang around here more, who knows, there might be hope for you yet.

Good God, Rumitoid, that makes four times we agree, and twice in the same day! I guess some things transcend political persuasions.

Agreed, banjojack. As much as I may want some butt kicked for this stupidity by the Islamic community, it will be a very dark day for the future of America if there are any serious incidents or just general jeering and some tomatoes.

Dont be fooled. Any muslim that shows up on 9-11, is a jihadi. That the whole purpose of being there. Its a slap in the face of America. And, its not a mistake, its intentional and planned.

The other thing I worry about is even if Americans show enormous restraint and allow this march to go unmolested, the terrorists are not beyond killing their own or creating some incident to make trouble.

What part? Right or Left? It would definitely suit the Right, who are more hawkish and make Obama out to be either a Muslim or Muslim-lover. This would make it very difficult on the president, limiting options that conservatives do not want him to have or invoke. What would be the upside for the Left causing trouble at this march?

Don't know what the political upside might be for either cons or libs. But if these bikers show you understand they would all be Red Neck Americans, and they would not be making trouble with their peaceful ride around D.C. (snicker)
