Well, Jade Helm is upon us and Texas loonies are lining up to "protect" this wonderful state of ours. The only thing missing from the conservative circus is Donald Trump to lead the lunatic charge. If he would hurry we could round up some Mexican's for him to run over in a humvee. That would be a good show with some bloody legs sticking out from under a tire or two--sure to bump him up a point or two. One thing I've been meaning to ask him though--all those women who are being raped by Mexicans is this an example of "god's will" and will he fight for visitation rights for all those brown gentlemen doing the work of the god of conservative America? We thought that Obamacare would not have death panels, and sure enough they are there in the text, not named death panels but a way to refuse medical treatment for the elderly. We were told that the rates would not go up, but here we are facing another spike in those rates. You also may recall in the 60s we were told that there was no Mafia, that it was just a scare tactic and nothing to be alarmed about. In the 70s we worried over mind control, and was told it was nonsense until MK-ULTRA was unveiled. Do you know about Operation Mokingbird? How about The Tuskegee Syphilis Study? Or Operation Northwoods? The Iran-Contra Affair? And Bengasi? So what makes you so very very positive that the government is being open and honest? And would that not be a novel idea, the government having a transparent agenda? And I think that it would be refreshing for the news media to stop printing half truths. But, that is what they are being paid to do.

There is nothing in Obamacare about "death panels." We are not facing an overall raise in premiums but an average reduction. However, I thoroughly agree that a) the government cannot be trusted to be honest, and b) it is always lying to us.

I am a senior, I have private insurance. I recently went to my doctor for a follow up visit for an issue I had last year. Anyway, the nurse asked the customary question and then she said something very strange. She asked me when I would like to schedule my "end of life" preferences. I asked what the heck, she informed me that since I am now 65, doctors under Obamacare now counsel individual on their preferences, for example when to pull the plug. So, I came home and did my normal thing....research. One quote, which I copied for a reread, was from Paul Krugman, brought it up in a list of actions that will be required to control the national debt: “(W)e’re also going to have to make decisions about health care, doc pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits … which I shouldn’t even say because it will get me in trouble is death panels....” And that was just last year. Then I looked at Medicare, 5 years ago there was no codes for "end of life counseling" guess what is in the 2015 handbook for physicians (my cousin is a doctor).... yes, the counseling coding is now in place. So ask yourself, if your mother/father had Alzheimer's disease and was briefed with key words, such as reaming on your current medication will cost your children X amount of dollars, but you can avoid that if you sign an end of life agreement that says when you become bedridden or in need of excessive care you can elect NO TREATMENT, a DNR, and elect to be treated only for pain. What do you think an elder would do?

You are quite full of shit. I will have you know that my deductable rose by 23%, and my so-called donut hole in my part D went from $2,500 to $4,700 (Obama lies keep saying the donut hole has been closed, lie lie lie) and there are unelected people in what are called IPAB's (independent payment advisory board) who decide when enough money has been spent on any individual. They then order you cut off and you subsequently die if you can't come up with money to pay yourself. If that isn't a fucking death panel, then I missed definitions in dictionary school.
