No one but "YOU". Police don't stop crimes, they investigate them. It's up to each and every person to protect themselves and their families. However what and how they protect them, is up to them. It is not my responsibility to protect you and your family. This may sound cold but, why should I be or anyone else but you, be responsible for you or yours'. Just remember the old saying, "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight".

Just another reason we all need weapons is to protect ourselves. The police even if they wanted to do not have the manpower to cover everybody at all times only you can do that. I believe that the only thing that police are obligated to do is enforce the laws that are on the books. They also try to solve crimes and arrest the perp. Some officers will try and protect the people but don't bank on it always occurring. Aside from the doughnut jokes most officers really do try and do a great job but now with this supreme court ruling things could change even more against the public. The saying "buyer beware" comes to mind only it this case "protected beware". Buy more precious metal, buy lead.

It is hard for the liberals to admit but all of the "gun free zones" in this country are created by those in the "mind dead zones" of the liberal politicians.
