Things still move way to fast

If I could
I don’t like the world as much as I used to.
And that’s a fact from me to you.
To many bad people with nothing to do.
Not enough time for me and you.
Days going by so very fast.
Nothing ever seems to last.
No one stays in marriage any more.
There here today, and out the door.
Youngsters grow up way to fast.
All that’s left is a shadow of there past.
No time to stop, have to go.
Times to short and way to slow.
But if I could, I would change all that.
I would slow us down, and that’s a fact.
We all need to see the world around.
Where love, hope and laughter abound.
We should smell the roses as someone said.
At least once, before were dead.
Hurry go here, hurry go there.
Not even time to set in an easy chair.
Come here go there, Do this ,do that
Yup, I’d slow us down. And that’s a fact.

The poem was pretty good, much better
than I could do......

BUT

All that’s left is a shadow of there past.

Not even time to set in an easy chair.

OR did you mean?

All that’s left is a shadow of their past.

Not even time to sit in an easy chair.

Warning Warning Warning

Warning Will Robertson, danger ahead, spell police are on the prowl. Able to leap tall buildings with a single bound. Faster than a well placed adjective, mightier than a noun.
Tom Brooks is here to save the day. And this correction coming from a person that openly admits he is not able to put together two words that rime.
People like you are so egregious in there own life, it is a wonder just how it is you get through the day without chocking on you own bile.

Sorry Robot, you were supposed to have been programed to speak American English. Spelling was not your forte. And, spelling is not the problem here. It is the choice of words. The ones you used just don't make since in American English.
But, I guess you don't care if you make sense or not.
Your programmer must have gotten his PHD in the third grade along with Jethro Bodine, the brain surgeon.
