Hi Dave: Perhaps, too little information to form a judgment about your attitude on race. I think you are under estimating the abilities of that segment of people to which you refer. They know how to apply for welfare, food (SNAP),renters credits, child care, and a multitude of other gifts from the gov. I don't see racism in your statement, but an insult, saying "they are incapable." It's simply not true. If sick they will find a way to the hospital.

People, are foolish to say one group of people are smarter than others. It is base on the teachings they received. Sure, some are more talented than others. There has to be some that are given this God given gift. How, can you explain a 5 year old that play musical instruments, others that can sing beautifully, mechanically incline and so many other talents and so on. If you are saying whites are smarter than blacks and Latinas and other groups, then you are foolish. God, in the Bible gave skills to jewel cutters stone cutters, gifts of playing musical instruments and so on. Some are not given the opportunity or won't take hold to it, to acquire more knowledge and so they fall behind when refusing it. Some just want to live off others, not saying that some actually need help and deserve it. But when you reason it all out no group or race is smarter than the other. It is base on circumstances, teachings, opportunities and special talents given by God.

Bill - then you'd agree that Hillary and virtually the entire Democratic Party are insulting minorities - because that is their position (and not really mine)

Since the US has poured 100s of billions on poverty programs and the percentage of people in poverty has stayed the same. We made no progress. We made millions of people dependent on gov. We made welfare so easy to get. It incentivizes people not to work, to get pregnant at 14, for males to desert their children with no penalty, others to feign disability. The system is so easy to scam. I know of a young man standing in line at a food bank who bragged about have 7 addresses in two counties so he could scam the system. There are no police guarding the welfare bank so it is easy to rob.

I have to say that most of people I see at the food store buy cokes and junk food with their SNAP cards. A majority are obese. I know of cases where SNAP cards were sold for cash, or traded for drugs. A relative was on SNAP and he gained 20#. He lost it when he lost his SNAP. I CONTEND THAT IT IN NOT AN ISSUE OF TOO LITTLE FOOD BUT TOO MUCH OF IT, MAKING PEOPLE FAT. MICHELLE WHERE ARE U?????

The interesting item - the guy with the 7 addresses - does he also have ID for all of them? Probably so - the same corruption of welfare presents the same opportunity for corruption of elections - and more motivation for it.
